Like all telnet admins+, they don't have to join the server to view admin conductivity - they can look at the logs. Yeah, but chances are, they just don't. I know a number of people who use that excuse to vote on things, I happen to believe that if you say you use telnet to watch the server, at least make sure you're still an admin on the server and not removed for inactivity. |

I also did leave my executive position for a few reasons. Aside from having more real life stuff to worry about, serrif is in fact correct at what I attested to. I felt like I was wasting my time being an admin officer, because any changes I could’ve possibly suggested to be made, would have not been implemented by my superior. I just knew that, so I figured why waste my time trying to make change when I know for a fact that the superiors just have too hard of a skull with stubbornness to make change? Change is good, especially when it’s necessary, and in this case. It is. I left the position for a similar reason. I agree with a lot of the points you've made, I just didn't know how to articulate them when I did step down. Also, just the fact that I saw myself gain a similar bull-headed mindset. I got people to despise me for how I handled situations based on personal bias, which is not who the fuck I am, and it's not what this server deserves. I'm seeing the same pattern in inFAmas and while I understand the cognitive dissonance he must be having, he needs to act upon it and be mature. Not logging onto the forums and responding for nearly four days is the farthest from mature when action like this needs to be taken. |

I don't understand what's wrong with simply resigning, the polls for inFAmas are 56-4 in favor for removal and 34-2 in favor for removal of forum admin until a decision can be made. So inFAmas97, why are you hiding in the shadows? You've obviously seen our posts, our threads raising our concerns and just haven't even bothered to reply? Is that a smart move? If you wanted to keep your Executive rank woudln't you be trying to be as open as possible? |

i think a major rewamp of the executives and much more frequent application freezes could be the possible solution. the executive system has been the same ever since the server started, which means it has not been changed almost at all. this also means that the system is actually quite outdated. however, i wouldnt like all the admin ranks to be integrated into one. that would just cause a LOT of unrest between admins cause some have worked harder than the others. you cant really compare a senior to a super.

If I was in his position, I would be responding, embracing the criticism and learning what I need to improve on and do different going forward. But he's not even acknowledged this situation, it's actually pretty embarrassing.. He's doesn't understand the serverity of the situation and hasn't even replied to any of hundreds of tags or quotes aimed at him, he's not even trying to resolve any of this |
