vouch just add a mod rank or smth Thats basicly the suggestion Merge "super admin" and "telnet admin" and make a new rank called Moderator. Senior admin would just become admin

Maybe we could add senior mod or something to create an extra step before reaching senior admin/admin

Like what, shorten the opening of which one could apply, add more requirements? No matter how hard something is if the mod is popular enough people will vouch. Its not the systems fault its the voters fault.

Its not the systems fault its the voters fault. If an applicant is popular they've ingrained themself into the community which is done through participation and playtime, so I don't see how that's a fault?

Its not the systems fault its the voters fault. they would get senior eventually, i would much rather not allow in people who don't deserve it rather than just delay them from getting it. if the issue is that popularity allows peoples ranks, we need to fix that. people are popular for reasons, whether it be that they're good with other admins and ops or that they do their job well

I Vouch for all the concepts but I was thinking of renaming Super Admin to just 'Admin' and keeping the 'Senior Admin' name as-is.

Officially approved and enforced because i approved it too fast initially.
Note: none of this is set in stone and will likely be changed and modified depending on issues that may come up in the future.

Just to clear up any potential confusion from my last post, I do object to this. We discussed it recently and it was refused, and given nothing major has changed and we've only just approved the idea of getting SA's telnet access this feels premature.
I also strongly disagree with calling supers / telnet's 'Moderators' as it's absolute nonsense of the highest order and I think is significantly more tacky than what we've got.
'Admin' for all staff with 'Senior Admin' being used for current senior admins feels like a far more sensible way, but I ultimately think we should be seeing how the giving telnet access to super's goes given the entire admin team on my suggestion felt that super admins couldn't be trusted with the additional access of telnet, and I can't believe an entire community could have changed it's mind in 4 weeks.
I'd also suggest this thread is a mute point, given it was approved after 2 hours, the entire rest of the thread is worthless because it's already been heavily biased into agreeing because an executive likes the idea of it, so the 4 pages of actual content after it was approved including this post is basically worthless now.
