I've noticed multiple times that when we needed to add a master builder (in-game), there wasn't anyone available to do this. Currently only three people have access to this list which just means it takes long till someone gets MB in-game or gets it removed. If I remember correctly I had to wait a couple of days after my application got approved to finally get added to that list. We really need more people to be able to add people to this list.
Myself, I really think we should give at least all Seniors who are also MBs access to this list. Even if we do this, (correct me if needed) two extra admins would get access to this. It in my opinion, be even better if we'd give Telnets (who are also MBs) access to this as well. I've seen numerous discussions about this in the mb-lounge on discord, and I decided to actually go and make a thread about it. Nothing is going to happen if we don't do something about it.
I've also decided to post this in suggestions as maybe any form of other advice or suggestion (although that's difficult to do here) of someone that isn't an MB is very much appreciated. Please vote on the poll and reply if you have anything that could improve this suggestion.

Only the Executive Creative Designer should have that... literally all of these poll options are unnecessary and counter intuitive.

I think if you're trusted to add someone to admin, you should be trusted to add someone to mb. An admin could do a lot more damage than an MB could, so it would only make sense to give it to Telnets+.

Why should a Telnet admin be able to add master builders or admins? Limit those permissions to the creative designer and admin officer. Literally the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

Also, saying its "the dumbest thing you've ever heard" is completely uncalled for and doesn't prove your point any further.

What authorizes a Telnet admin to promote people to admin? It's a duty that only the owner and admin officer should have permission to perform. It isn't difficult for them to spend 30 seconds logging into a Minecraft server and typing the command after they promote somebody. Permissions should be restricted to those with the duty to perform them.

Maybe a day or two after the application is accepted but definitely not more than that. Isn't our MB list incredibly small also?

Telnets do not have the authority to promote someone to admin, they simply have the ability to add someone to the list in-game. I've seen very few cases of this being abused, and it can be easily reverted and anyone misusing can be suspended.

They can do it from console that's not the issue, the issue is when they promote somebody, they need to wait for them to come online to add them. If kae has a completely different timezone to an accepted applicant it could literally take days for them to both be online at the same time? I don't see the real issue with giving telnets access to it. Also, this isn't related to the thread, if you want to take away the permission from telnets, create a separate thread. As it stands, telnets have access to saconfig and should therefore have access to mbconfig, until that changes, my point stands.

Literally the dumbest thing I have ever heard. What? Are telnet admins authorized to approve admin applications and reinstatements? No, then they should not have access to those commands. It shouldn't be the job of any admin to do what we have an admin officer and owner for. Not giving people access to things that they should've never had access to is an easy way to prevent problems and it's pretty much the only thing that makes sense, unless you also believe that we should give players the ability to ban other players just in case the admins that are supposed to ban people aren't available.

I can't think of a single circumstance in which you're able to log into the forums, promote people to admin, but also not be able to log into Minecraft or the console (something you can do on any device in which you can also access the forums to my knowledge). They don't need to be online at the same time... it's a database and if the command requires the person to be online then that's a technical issue which can be solved in literally 2 minutes. I am saying that both should change because it makes no sense to do it otherwise. I do think that if you support telnets having access to those commands then you should also support players having access to ban commands because it's literally the same logic you are using right now.

While I don't think we should regulate everything we do just in case of that possibility, I think it's dumb to give excessive powers to admins that they should not have. People don't need to have access to these things and allowing it just enables more fuckups. 2. It's illogical, irrational, and beyond the scope of power of admins. Do you support players having access to ban commands? No, then you shouldn't support admins having the ability to make anybody an admin.

False equivalency - Admins have been selected because they can be trusted, and regular players don't have that same credibility. Beyond that, Telnet admins are selected because they have shown that they can handle Super Admin for an extended period of time.
