/rollback [the old logging system is outdated and inferior to CoreProtect, and possible of breaking operator's builds. `/co i` should be used instead.] I agree with everything except this. Yesterday I had to use this command due to core protect database being slow. If you can come up with a solutio to this problem, I'd be glad to use it. Anyway, I think that I brought up this opinion on the server recently and I'll bring it up here. I believe that Windows is a figurehead for the executive branch of the server. I see no actual decisions coming from Windows and all of them coming from the executives (when they decide to function) and I think that the power is solely in the executive branch and not in the players or the admins. They make the decisions for the server (without vote from anyone but the seniors or just the executives) and all of the admins are expected to morph into the rules that they push out. I think instead of having a monarchy type of server, we should have a democratic type. Leave the decisions to the players and the admins and make everyone the same leaderwise. Not this crap about how seniors can bend the rules for their own enjoyment or how seniors have to be listened to and you can't argue despite the stupidity of what they're saying. Anyway, I think these changes (the ones listed here, and on the thread itself) are impossible because the current executives are to modest and full of fake pride. In order to make change, we need to start with a new executive team. P.S. To the moderator currently about to "moderate" this post (and the others) just know that I know that you read this and took it to heart, so thanks for proving my point.

I can tell you for a fact that seniors are rarely, if ever, consulted for new rule changes to the server. All of that happens within the executive branch

I think of all the comments on what change needs to be made, I'd like to bring back zekurt's wording of 'admin culture'. Currently, I believe that our admin application process is more closely related to a pay-to-win rank up system on another server than it is to actually administrate. Admins and OPs should be at relatively the same level. I believe that cutting down the massive divide between admins and OPs will play a huge part in winning our player base over, however, this doesn't seem likely anytime soon. On that point, I'd like to reinforce the executive silence issue. We've been hearing absolutely diddly-squat from the executives on our suggestions, issues with the server, and opinions, and our jobs as administrators would be made so much easier if we got some response back from the exec's. TL;DR: - Cut the admin culture. Admin's and OP's need to feel equal in some way or form. If I was an OP, I would look on admin as a 'pay-to-win' rank rather than 'this makes life harder' rank.
- Exec. Communication. We just need any sort of communication or confirmation from the executives. It feels like whatever we've been saying has fallen on deaf ears. Hell, I saw an OP the other day starting an Admin Union and advertising it for members because we weren't getting action. We just need more communication.

A few of the things I think about this server have already been covered, so I'll just (tiredly) throw some of my thoughts here.
And what better place to start on the administration team. This has been covered before on a multitude of occasions, but honestly, it is far to easy to get admin. Yes, three quarters of all admin applications are denied, but that's most likely just random ops who don't understand what a pre-application checklist is. When it comes to applicants who actually meet the requirements and apply, it startles me to see most of them getting admin within the same week through the *PaS programme (typically SPaS), I'm not going to go out pointing fingers here, but numerous admins, not even restricted to those still ranked Super Admin, hardly administrate whenever I see them online. I get it, at most times there's always atleast one afmin on the server, but when there's 30+ ops online and a single afk or completely oblivious admin being the only wall of defense against the rulebreakers who take advantage of the lack of admins all I can say is that the server would probably do better without said admin. Throughout the month where I was removed from starus, the vast majority of my valid in-game reports were flat out ignored by admins, not to mention that there was a fair amount of other ops also reporting the rulebreaker(s). Personally, I think that the PaS' (more specificallt, SPaS' need to be tightened up. Perhaps seniors should only be able to select an applicant once a year or, Hell, just pick a single op and that's it. I along with plenty of other Telnet+ admins haven't even used our first *PaS yet, either from the 'good' ops already being selected or that we just don't think the applicants are good enough.)
There's more I'll post later about some thoughts, but I'm going to wake myself up first.

In what ways? I can work on improving those. I am not afraid of criticism. - Itemizer / ItemFixer. These sound like they do the exact same thing, and even if they don't, we have a lot of these item-changing plugins.
Itemfixer manages in-game items and prevents crash exploits getting loaded. Basically is like nosploit, but working better. It patches In-game crash items Crash hoppers Lag fireworks Sign exploits Book exploits Crash skulls etc. Itemizer is just a in-game item enchant, i own a better modded jar that ops were using a tons of time. The actual jar loaded in server keeps erroring and erroring.

Everything just needs to be stricter. What I cannot stand is the permanent ban structure, 2 weeks is not permanent and the appealing process should be made more rigorous. In addition, I hate such a uselessly big admin team, the whole mentality of admins is wrong, rogues need to be dealt with more seriously.
Communication also needs to improve, communication is one of the most important things which runs the server- the server is failing because of a lack of communication. We need more announcements, updates and more votes/polls regarding changes.

Total Freedom is good server, I'll admit it. But I feel like some people have been taking the advantage of the server a little too far. Perhaps it would be best to tighten up the rules a little bit. And like said above, there is too many chances given out. I am new here, so I don't have a lot to say about it. You learn fast then. Yes too many chances is something I have been working to cut back on. Certain rules probably will be tightened at some point, largely to get rid of toxic behaviors as much as possible. Anyway, I think that I brought up this opinion on the server recently and I'll bring it up here. I believe that Windows is a figurehead for the executive branch of the server. No, I'm not just a figurehead. I have made some significant changes earlier in the year (for example moving the server to a new host). I've been less active than I should have been lately though and I am going to correct that issue. As far as someone moderating your post, that should not happen as you are not breaking any forum rules and your feedback is constructive (i.e. not just throwing around insults, which WOULD get moderated). Everything just needs to be stricter. What I cannot stand is the permanent ban structure, 2 weeks is not permanent and the appealing process should be made more rigorous. We need more announcements, updates and more votes/polls regarding changes. I agree with dealing with rogues more seriously. I also agree with the permanent ban issue. I've made sure that has been done in at least one of the better known cases. Also, as far as communication I will work on that. A change log would be a good idea.

Here's a list of things that should be added/changed. - Implementation of a true permanent ban. This is the one where you cannot appeal at all. (Only to be used for players who have been given like 20 chances or you feel that they're unfit to play on the server, etc.)
- Close Administrator Applications for a few months.
- ProtocolSupport. Allows clients from a huge amount of versions to work and it's more stable than ViaVersion.
- Put a cap on the maximum number of Admins appointed or approved a month. - This will cut down the sheer number of Super Admins.
- No more second chances. If you screw up, you should pay the price for your actions. No more "oh I won't do it again, I swear" nonsense. If you go corrupt and cause a ruckus and otherwise harm the server, you should pay the price for your actions. If you *truly* feel you can change, you should undergo a review board and if you are deemed fit to obtain an administration role, you should start from rock bottom and work your way back up to ensure you don't go corrupt as soon as you get all your power back.
- Make Administrator harder to achieve. Like 2 years ago, it took at least THREE tries to get Administrator. Now players get it in one shot. Please make this harder and this will also significantly cut down the number of Admins that really only want the title.

I'm proud to see Windows being a true owner and taking responsibility here. I haven't seen that in... I want to say years almost. Also the server needs less of a bias when it comes to bans and such. I don't care if you suck the guy's dick for money, a ban is a ban. There are too many SAs and when you keep adding more in more things get messy. More fights and such. It is also harder to train in that environment. There shouldn't be more admins than ops on the serve. If a certain admin needs to be watched over they deserve to know why first. But other than that I see it as fine. One last thing like a couple people said... Executives need to work with each other and be able to reach agreements and negotiate. Not have one thing or the other. I'll be honest, the server may be filled of admins although that's because most of them aren't active and it just happens that there's usually less than 3 admins online.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's not about how HARD admin applications are, back in 2013 when the application requirements were as lax as they could be we had NONE of these problems, but now that the application process has been made stricter we still have more problems then we used to. It doesn't matter how HARD you make applications if the applicants don't get good training. It's not how hard it is to get admin it all comes down to whether the applicants are trained properly or are just left to their own devices as soon as they get admin. Increasing the difficulty of admin applications doesn't matter and it doesn't matter how many tries it takes to get admin if they don't get trained properly and people need to start understanding that

This is a bit rushed, but here are my thoughts - expect typos and grammar errors:
1. Transparency and better communication We do have a problem with this currently - both with developers and executives. We should have a changelog for developmental updates so everyone is on board with the changes. For executives, it's really crucial that some topics should have more discussion with everyone, such as the concerns revolving around admin applications. Perhaps there should be checkins and updates so everyone knows what's going on and can provide some input.
However, there are some things that are harder to be open (such as Admin related investigations on a large scale, for example the Scutix Insider event, since there were seniors who were involved and not many could actually be trusted - this has to be respected). All in all, there has to be a balance, and I think with suggestions, there shouldn't be closed doors.
2. Admin applications Yes, it should be harder to get admin since we don't really have any OPs on the server; I agree with previous posts on how getting admin is like a pay-to-win rank. We should end the SPAS/TPAS program since it allows people to essentially arbitrarily promote people to SA. I don't know if closing applications is the best solution, but make it harder and apps should be open longer. We have so many staff already and we should get their input before promoting.
3. Admin training Our quality of admins have dropped, and perhaps it's from training. I was never trained, but I've never done anything to get myself suspended - it ends up being how seriously or how much 'fun' you think being staff is. I remember training this SA who had trouble focusing - not a good impression. I think it's really sketchy also for seniors to randomly change rules. A recent example is letting permbanned people join since they're not causing trouble.
4. Executive powers Executives sometimes have their hands tied and can't make much progress. I understand Windows is busy, but in the past, he's had some trouble being active and responding to PMs. For example, Steven and I were working on a macro policy that never got approved.

How I feel about the server: -Way to many admins, Admins quantity > OPS
-WAY to much respect for Admins and not enough respect for OPS. Just because you OPS become admins does not make you any more valuable than OPS. Infact OPS are more valuable than you
-Executives need to start speaking publicly on PUBLIC suggestions, such as the one I made. Clearly If theres a public issue thats going on, executives should speak publicly, not hide in private and talk about it. Like come On executives.
-Way to many rogue admins getting too many chances. _Windows You are literally killing your own server just by giving rogues so many chances

-Way to many rogue admins getting too many chances. _Windows You are literally killing your own server just by giving rogues so many chances No, it isn't Windows that lets rogues back, its other people. So stop accusing him of everything when you have no clue what you're talking about. And for the 'OPs are more valuable than you' part, that isn't true either. OPs and Admins should have the SAME respect, no-one should have more or less respect than other ranks. My opinion was already mentioned in above posts but I shall say it here. Not every suggestion or opinions thread is drama. I seen there was a thread on decyj145 that was moved to the recycle bin for 'too much drama' when there wasn't much drama at all. The Executives really need to start communicating with ALL players instead of privately discussing things. People who broke rules should get more chances but not too many. I'd say 2-3 max. Also, if a rogue admin is returning they should work up the ranks again instead of just being promoted straight back to telnet clan or any rank they had before being suspended. I've seen the Execs are kinda biased to some players (not mentioning any names) and give them loads of chances and, as a lot of people would say, 'special treatment'. Every player should be treated the same way, no matter what rank or title. Admin applications should be closed for a while or people should make it harder to get admin. TF should go for quality over quantity, not the other way around. I've seen so many admins blatantly ignore my reports despite being on and active. Some admins just post on the forums so they don't get removed from status for inactivity, we should put an end to that too as they do nothing for the server but just post on the forums. Admins should be allowed to criticise seniors or other admins if they make incorrect judgement. It shouldn't be all this 'You can't argue' crap. If I was punished for something I didn't do on here I'd expect to be fully able to criticise the person who punished me instead of being banned for longer or cut off every time.
