According to 0 witness testimonies did he physically resist. Mainly because he never got the chance to, they said "you have to leave" he said "no" and then they forcefully did so which resulted in his face being smashed against a seat handle and his body being dragged the rest of the way.
How would it be his fault at all? That doesn't even make any sense. They boarded the plane, everyone who paid was on and then they said "well guess what, we need 4 seats for our employees so woops. Guess if none of you want to take our lowball offer of money, then we're going to have to "randomly" (1) select some people"
(1) Randomly, based on whatever would lose them the least amount of money.
Looks like he physically resisted of some sort, and even if he wasn't resisting what did he expect was going to happen when you refuse a security guards' request for you to leave? They're gonna end up forcibly removing you.
Ok so United Airlines is being an asshole to you and maybe even a bit more, but if you have a complaint then take it up with them in court and not with their security in person.
He was in seat with which they had no grounds to remove him from. They're not "being an asshole" they're breaking their own rules and if security told me to leave I would explain that to them. A grown ass man shouldn't get dragged out of his seat for doing nothing wrong, and that's what happened. They fucked up and assumed that someone would miss their flight, nobody did and that's why this situation happened.
You want to talk about "planning ahead" maybe the airline do so, so that they don't have to remove passengers for their own staff?
