So as most of you guys probably know I’m working on IndicaSMP.
I am working on it almost entirely myself, the builds, the configuration, and more or less everything else. I am looking for any of the following:
Plugins that you believe any survival server would need, it’s not going to be a completely vanilla server but I also don’t want like a bending plugin already. We already have a good amount of plugins, so don’t suggest basics like essentials or luckperms.
Secondly, anyone who just knows a lot about Linux or something so I can link a web server to my MC server and it’s various plugins.
Third, anyone who can help me setup server stuff like lag reduction or really anything stability wise so my server quality isn’t shit. This server is not released yet so I won’t be giving out the IP. Feel free to comment or pm me on discord
Also anyone who is proficient in the use of pro boards would also be cool. The forums are setup but someone who has lots of experience on pro boards would be cool.

I'm going to vouch. Although in the recent times, I have not seen you on very often, I know that you have what it takes to be a telnet admin. For many years, I've seen you administrate as a super admin, and I think you by far surpass the requirements needed to become a telnet admin.

1. On what date did you join the forum? Mar 13, 2017 at 9:22pm - this is my new account, I'm not sure when my old account joined the forum but I'd say early 2016. 2. When were you promoted to full senior admin status? May 25, 2020 3. How would you rate your level of activity on the forum? (e.g daily, twice a week, etc) Daily 4. Have you previously been a forum moderator? If so, when were you appointed and when were you removed from forum moderator? No 5. How long can we expect you to perform forum moderator duties? (e.g a year, next 6 months, etc) 1 year+ 6. Have you ever been suspended? If yes, explain why and when. Yes, I have been suspended in the past but I'd like to stress that I was basically a different person back then. In most recent times, or since I've reinstated, I haven't come close to being suspended and have gained senior admin on my first try. My previous suspensions were mostly just me being an asshole, or just being overall toxic. I think many in this community now and then can confirm that I no longer act out like I used to. If needed, I can track down every time I had been suspended in the past, but an important thing to state would be that I had never been suspended for going rogue or contributing to rogue activities. 7. Have you read all of the forum policies and believe you can enforce the guidelines? Yes 8. Why is it that you are interested in the position of Forum Moderator and why are you qualified for the position? I am interesting in the position of forum moderator because I enjoy helping TotalFreedom and it's community. I use the forums daily, and am likely more active on the forums than I am on the server. What makes me interested in this position is that, unlike some forum moderators, or forum staff in the past, I am active on the server and I believe that allowing forum staff to not be active on the server is a pointless decision. This does not happen as much anymore, but this is part of my interest in being a forum moderator. Other than that, I am interested because I feel that there are things that either go unnoticed on the forums, or things just take too long to be responded to. This is not all the time, but there have been occasions where things could've been done faster. I am qualified for this position because along with owning a few proboards forums, like I said earlier, I've been on the forums for a number of years and have had the experience, along with knowing the forum guidelines pretty well. I am a dedicated senior admin, and I am also dedicated to the improvement of the TotalFreedom forums along with the overall image of the server itself.

What actually is the kick message? If I am correct, it’s the Connection closed by a remote host. Could be wrong but that’s the one it I recall.

My current system is fairly dated but I run VR on my Oculus Rift pretty well.
i5 7600 paired with an Rx480 4gb. So really not a beefy system, but it can still run VR pretty well. I play games like FNAF Help Wanted, Robo Recall, and more and usually don’t have a problem. So like whoever it was above me that said buy whatever you can afford, I’m sure literally anything you buy will be able to run VR pretty well.

Can confirm this has happened to me, even just last night I was kicked mid conversation. Not sure how to fix this, but it sounds like it’s becoming more of a noticeable issue.

I love your Mustang and try to put some mods on it, some wheel spacers, maybe lower it an inch, your car would look amazing. I appreciate that, and I literally just got the car like last week. I plan on modding it, and it even came with a badass sound system that shakes my car on like less than a quarter volume. Eventually I'll start replacing shit and modding it to make it faster and more efficient. Currently, gas isn't as bad as people make it seem but I also do not race my car and I don't drive it all day so I have yet to see what driving a lot does to my gas. Anyway, thanks man and I'll keep you updated on it.

Is this plugin specifically for offline mode servers? I don’t see a reason to switch from our already functioning plugin to another plugin if it doesn’t specifically function on offline mode without having the issues we have right now.
I’m sure this plugin does have migration capability but if it can’t be used with offline mode and work under the conditions that we need, theres no point.

I read a few of the posts on this thread and I have a few things to say before I make my vote.
The person who is claiming that admins can not be or should not be trusted with the ability to add people to MB is the same person who has never joined the server to see how the admins actually administrate. Unlike popular belief, admins do not go around willynilly adding people to admin, and I’m confident they won’t add people to MB unless they are in fact a verified MB. Also, most people are forgetting the main part of this suggestion. You can’t say that only the ECD should be able to add people to MB when in most cases the ECD is not here/cannot be here immediately to add them to MB. MB is almost entirely just a title (I don’t mean this offensively, the builds are cool but I say this in relation to permissions) it is not like setting someone to the Owner rank. Admins are almost always available, and can be trusted with this permission. I did vote senior admins only, but now that I’ve thought about it I believe that it should be telnet+.

I'm curious as I don't remember seeing this in the manner you're referring to. Could you perhaps screenshot some of it and censor names for reference? I took no screenshots of this incident as it was "technically" not against the rules. It happened last Sunday during the twilight hours. I'll look through logs and see if I find it. I'll promise you this, though, the next time something of this manor occurs, and mind you, this type of behavior happens a lot, I'll be reporting it w/ screenshots to IA and the EAO. I encourage everyone to do the same ^ I don’t know dude, I’m pretty sure most admins would agree that the majority of us are not saying this. I think that what you say you’ve witnessed is a serious thing, and even if it’s not against the rules the admins still need to have their discipline at a certain level and clearly we have an admin who just isn’t competent. You and I as senior admins should be the ones who correct simple conduct mistakes but things that involve blatant bigotry (which an admin got suspended for so it is technically against the rules) should result in a more serious way.

From what I’ve witnessed in the past four years, I disagree for the most point with what you’ve stated in your post.
I think the admins, especially the telnet admins, are mature and know when to be serious when it’s needed. I’ve witnessed a lot of admins coming and going and I can tell you that now that we’ve shaved off parts of the application system, we now have more quality admins than we used to. The admins of the past seemed to be more here fun and power, while the admins now actually have to work to be accepted as an admin and not SPaSed or TPaSed. I also agree with whoever said that as a senior you can also help train the admins you see as unfit. Whenever I see an admin, even seniors, I don’t make a point to say they’re bad admins, I PM them on discord or try to help fix whatever they’re doing wrong. Like I said originally, I do not see serious misuse or abuse on really any level at the rate you’re making it seem like in your post. I’m not trying to be a dick, but since you’re critiquing I might as well give my two sense.
