We've added more and more restrictions to applications over time and they've really done nothing. The issue is far worse than when we had very little restrictions, if any at all. Also, it doesn't matter how hard admin applications are when any telnet+ can make anyone admin. The issue is caused by more than just a lax application process, and more than just restrictions are needed. well i assume that bc its relatively easy to be accepted, you get admins that vouch for everyone which screws it up further Yeah but regardless of how many restrictions you may add on, it will still always be relatively easy to get admin under this current system. |

Hey, listen, I'm actively advocating these changes be made, but not everyone in the executive branch is as willing to make some of the changes. We have to talk it out and compromise because my opinions aren't the only deciding factor. If it were up to me, then yes I'd totally rework the system, because all these changes make a lot of sense to me. But I don't have the know-how, the permissions, or the power to. We already plan to halt admin applications. Time is of the essence, these changes don't just happen overnight.

I vouch. Everytime we have a new player they say can I have admin? We obviously say do /ai.
The harder the application gets, the more people will want Admin.A lot of OPs are powerhungry.

I have fun on this server the way it is. What would be the purpose of being a staff member? I just wish most people enjoy this server as much as I have within’ the past couple of days since I joined here. I definitely would agree and if I’m allowed to, vouch for this suggestion.

The holiday freeze is traditional, because it's... during the holidays. This suggestion doesn't have a final outcome yet, but when it does, the actions will not have been a normal part of the freeze. |
