This is my all time favourite post. Also couldn’t agree more with the ops being treated like garbage like when admins don’t realise I’m a past senior then suddenly suck up when they find out

I'm happy someone finally stepped up and posted this. I vouch, because we have way too many admins and it causes countless conflicts. I made an admin application a while ago because I wanted to stop such conflicts. And my vouching on this proves that I really only wanted to be admin here so I could prevent them, because if this goes through, it'll cut off my future admin applications.

This is one of the biggest problem to be honest.
Rogue admins can cause a lot of bad stuff.
Some people from here probably seen what it looks like giving a rogue admin their rank back.
I hope this advise will be taken a close look at because if we follow this step we'll be one step closer to the TF's success.
I also have to say that TF has been really breaking down in 2017, 2017 in TF was a really big disaster, after Scutix was banned I knew what will happen, that's why am staff now.
That is why am trying to help this server, so now we need to build it back up in 2018. So one of the biggest steps will be this, "Stop giving rogue admins power back."

But another thing is that applications must not be denied that much, we need to take a close look at the applications because some people may be skilled at being staff, and good enough for the job and have met all requirements.

And am glad to say that TF is gonna succeed and it's going well soon. And it does not matter if we have a lot of staff, even if we have a lot, we must ensure that all staff are doing their job well and properly. And get new staff too with really good skills TF maybe require. |

But they're not, We have literally hundreds (I think) and only 20 come online. We need to mass suspend those who don't come online. And get new staff too with really good skills TF maybe require. Around 1 in 20 OPs will actually qualify for Admin. |

I apologize for my slowness over the last month or so, I've been a bit busy and not as active as I'd like to be. I have more time now and will be able to closely look through the suggestions and see what improvements can be made.
I'll do my best to be transparent, but the only reason for a closed discussion is to get the execs views on it as execs have a more intimate understanding of the policy since they have first-hand experience of the policy and its workings.

But I am starting to get back online even now am just launching Minecraft up currently. I'll try my best to be active again the best I can. |

I just went through the application boards and noticed something. New applicants aren't getting accepted as often as you think. Out of the last 10 applications in the approved section 1 was a new applicant and 9 were reinstatements. Also look at the denied board and the approved board and compare the dates of the last posts and you'll find people are getting denied a lot more than they are getting accepted. Also there's still periods of the day when there's players on but no admins. I know that it's not realistic to have admins on 24/7 but there's some periods like during the day or early evening for me (timezone is GMT +8) when there's a decent amount of OPs on but no admins. So we should instead of cutting off ALL applications, focus on finding decent applicants in timezones that don't have enough admin activity This is a big point. Looking at only the first page of approvals which spans back to October 2017, there have been only 6 new admins in the past 3 months, and that's not including the days of the promotion freeze I think a few issues here may be exaggerated a bit. I dont see any huge problems with the current system. Obviously, some adjurations can be made to be more strict on past rogues & improve respect towards OPs, among other things. but I think a total shutdown and rewrite of everything may be of an overreaction of the current circumstances. |

Fair Enough, I don´t see why we cant do that. More strict on the new applications is enough. Admins, respect the OPS. But please, close off giving rogue admins power back. If your an admin, you have the responsibility of treating OPS fairly and to not harm the server and if you fail that responsibility then you fail, you shouldn't get your power back. Don´t just be more strict towards rogues, cut them off completely from becoming admin. If they go rogue that is their fault and their doing and they should suffer the consequences and NEVER get their power back. |
