This server runs the Madgeek created BukkitTelnet plugin, which allows a generic Telnet client to connect to the server and issue remote commands as well viewing all real-time logging activity. See this link for more info: goo.gl/AbQbp
To obtain Telnet access and become a Telnet Admin, you must wait at least 8 weeks from time you were first appointed as a super admin and you will normally need at least one senior admin recommendation or vouch. The approval authority for Telnet admin are the Executive Admins.
Note: If you were a former Total Freedom Telnet admin, do not fill out this application - fill out the reinstatement application per goo.gl/hQFLRB
1. Your Minecraft name: (also include any old IGNs and forum names that you used as an admin)
1.LOOOLLLL - jkmaxplayzmc/_xCoincidential as forum names - current IGN
2 .MCSNTF_90 - Quintillion56, MCSNTF_90, and LOOOLLLL/MCSNTF_90 as forum names - past IGN
3. mychaeljkmax - Quintillion56 and possibly mychaeljkmax as a forum name - oldest IGN i've used while appointed to the admin status
2. Your Twitter handle (if available but not required):
N/A
3. What date were you appointed to super admin status? For example 10 May 2014.
I believe that I was first appointed to the admin status on Aug. 2nd - confirmed for real this time, I saw on my super admin app where infamas approved, it was on that date
4. How many times you were removed from super status due to rules violations (do not include instances of removal for inactivity). If none, state none. If you were suspended, state how many times and the last date you were suspended; you must wait 4 weeks from the time you re-gained super following the suspension.
N/A
5. How would you rate your knowledge of administrative commands associated with the telnet plugin? Please carefully study the Telnet for Dummies instruction message at: goo.gl/tE17KV and state either none (don't know the commands), beginner (read the instruction once), advanced (memorized the instructions), or expert (have previous Telnet experience from an associated Total Freedom server such as CJ)
Expert (i've used it on my own server countless times and also have observed telnett admins and TCAs using it)
6. How would you rate your knowledge of Telnet and do you have the required software to use Telnet? State either none, beginner, advanced, or expert.
Expert
7. Telnet Clan, Senior or Executive Admin Recommendation. If applying before the 8 week waiting period (but no earlier than 4 weeks), you must have an executive level admin recommendation. If applying after the 8 week waiting period, you should first list any Senior or Executive level recommendations followed by Telnet Clan recommendations however without a senior recommendation or senior vouch, any valid senior objection or multiple senior objections will result in automatic disapproval. Do not apply unless you have at least a Telnet Clan recommendation or higher.
@marcocorriero11 (requesting other recs as well - not intending to be powerhungry or a nuisance)
8. What admin activities have you performed to merit a promotion?
a. Enforce the rules (server or forum) and have evidence of such (e.g. valid perm ban requests on file) (If Yes, provide details)
Yes, I have banned countless griefers, fixed my mistakes of false banning, put a stop to flaming, raging, i've been doing /rollbacks on players that use nuker and are auto banned, because it is indefinite the damage that was caused by their login and attempted use.
I've also used /expel a number of times to deal with ridiculous buffoonery at spawn such as spawnkilling and spawn pvp. I'd make sure I do /wh 383 whenever there was a case of mobs being spawned at spawn, which clearly prevented the rights of the players to spawn again, and were a general nuisance to the server and the admins.
I also am good at dealing with a player who attempts, poorly, however, to impose as another through usage of the /nick command. I can easily see the difference between the two nicks, do /realname (first few words or letters of nickname) and see who the real player is and who the troll is. In this case i'd smite for 'change your nickname, it's too close to another players IGN' or something similar as such but according to the conduct policy, imposing is not allowed and I wouldn't say that attempting to nick as another player WOULDN'T fall into that category as well.
I always try to stop lag machines as best as possible. When I see one, I instantly use my logstick - before breaking - to see who placed the block. However, assuming that one edit means that the whole building was built by a specific player is not correct judgement, so i'd rollback the player to ensure it was really them that built the structure.
Not only am I confident in those everyday administrative skills, but I also make mistakes. Yes, I am not writing this part on behalf of complaining or 'celebrating my mistakes' but saying that when I false ban a player, or have even a sense that this player was unfairly banned (eg. a GTFO for breaking a part of a lag machine to prevent lag for themself) I can't help but unban the player, knowing that if I were to be banned for rightly preventing lagging of my minecraft client that I would be uhappy.
Once, when I did something that wasn't so great, thinking that I might be suspended from the admin status, and I heard I was reported to mark, you might think that I did nothing. However, I actually messaged mark himself about the incident saying that I did it and how it wasn't responsible and proper for an admin to make such a comment about spambots that might be taken seriously. However, I never have and never will; furthermore, I now look on to making this server a better place yet again, and encouraging people who do things such as I did, to come clean and make the best out of their learned lesson in hopes that it will only make them a wiser, more skillful and respectful, honest admin.
Here are permanent ban requests/other things I have posted on the forums that support my administration and the administration/safety of the server in terms of individual users

'According to the forum posting guidelines, you are violating them -
Flaming is not allowed on the forums.

'I have two suggestions. One is, we don't allow admins that have been suspended a certain number of times or gone rogue too many times to regain admin status, that may cause further issues. My other suggestion is that before accepting an application for admin, even if it is good, we should look back on the history of this player. Say that frequent user decided to make an application one day - or someone like him - even if this application met requirements, wouldn't we want to think back first on what he used to do to the server? I think the same should apply to everyone. Just some suggestions...
Hope markbyron replies to this'
'I don't know what, but what keeps causing these global server crashes that slowly crash everyone, know matter where they are, so nobody can login, and the server is all screwed up? Anyone have ideas? Flatlands corruptions?'
'Alright guys, as we all know there is someone who comes on the server known as Frequent user. We all know he comes on often. However, we need to stop...feeding him. By this I mean we need to stop encouraging him to "login with this name" or "that name" or asking him to do something like spam smiley faces. There are reasons he is forum banned and server banned, if mark were on the server, he'd ban him and probably hate to see us encourage him to spam and bypass bans. It should really stop because now, to my disbelief other admins are telling me not to ban him because he "isn't doing anything wrong atm" but you know, he is a serial rulebreaker JUST BY using his proxies and EVER using spam scripts - just by using his proxies, he is bypassing permanent bans - if you want it to end, you should keep banning him until he gives up one day. But honestly - why encourage whom we're trying to take action against?'
'I did not recommend this user. However, I thought that she would have already gotten valid recommendations. I have to object as well, as the requirements have not been met.'

Those were some of my more in depth posts that I have created via the forum
e. Have assisted in improving policy or general administration of TF server or forum? (If Yes, give examples)
I have made a suggestion in the suggestion section about avoiding giving admin status back to rogues, and making sure a player has enough respect and honesty toward the Total Freedom server before being appointed to the administrator status. You can find it at: totalfreedom.boards.net/thread/45804/consideration
Note: Only list the questions if you have a Yes response. If the answer is No to every question, you should probably apply at a later date when you can give a Yes answer to at least one item.
9. Have you read and understood the notes below?
Yes, and I understand them well. There are no exceptions or excuses.
Note 1: After your application is posted, there will be a waiting period of up to one month before approval. If an admin asks you a direct question, you should reply. If an admin objects and give reasons that you believe are incorrect, you may reply to state why you believe the reasons are incorrect and nothing more; do not rage or get dramatic - just state facts and do not reply more than once; no debates.
Note 2: Admin misconduct or abuse while on Telnet will be dealt with far more severely than when in-game. Also, if you login to Telnet and pose as a different admin or as the owner, you'll be subject to severe sanctions including loss of admin and banning. Using Telnet to commit rogue acts will result in permanent banning.
