1. Have you first read the pre-application checklist ( goo.gl/VwDDq2 ) and do you meet all the requirements and agree to all the standards within that checklist? (Yes or No) If no, explain.]
Yes.
2. What is your Minecraft name and time zone where you normally use Minecraft (e.g. GMT+1:00 or EST). Your Minecraft name must match your forum name or your Minecraft name must be in your forum profile.
My minecraft name is mychaeljkmax. I play in the Eastern time zone.
3. What date did you first join the Total Freedom forum (e.g. 1 Feb 2016)?
3/29/15. I previously had the account with the following username: MinecraftADDICT. I have had this account for about a year now, so I am confident that I meet all time requirements for being able to apply for
super admin. I only created an alternate account because I had lost the password from my previous one.
4. What describes you best - choose one (student, employed or unemployed, or retired)?
Student.
5. Do have any skills such as artistic design, coding, computer security, etc? (Yes or No). If Yes, provide detail.
Yes, I have server management skills, I am very helpful, and I am fairly confident in computer security. I know how to keep the players on a server under control, and calm, especially when they get angry, scared (for example, or a hacker, potential DDoser)or if they are just deciding to repeatedly commit rulebreaking actions and attempt forbidden commands. I know how to warn them so they will not perform the wrongdoing actions continuously-eventually. I can give very stern warnings to anyone who believes the rules can slip right past them, or they are above the rules. I am also foolproof, many players have attempted, however, failed, to prove me wrong when I accuse them of worldedit griefing, hacking, or abusing commands. I know exactly how to prove it to them. I'd check the console log and paste the specific information in the chat that says with proof they did indeed do what they are trying to cover up. If I am an admin on Total Freedom, there'll be absolutely no time for funny business or rule breaking. I have much experience with a wide variety of punish and general
minecraft game-server plugin commands, especially from essentials, world edit, and yes, this one, Total Freedom Mod. I know when and where and how to perform a specific command, and that if I make a mistake with a command, for example, banning the wrong person or banning someone
for an un-justified reason, or a reason not given, that I must unban that player or give them a reason before or after the ban. I know how to run servers, which means I definetely could be an administrator on this server, too. For example, I have owned about or over 15 servers, due
to creation, deleting, and re-creating-experimenting with a variety of different server types and game-versions. I also have somewhat great experience with configuration editting, as I know how and when to disable, enable, or change a current setting in the files that may be causing
server errors, or preventing a plugin or setting from being enabled. I can also quickly tell (and yes, I am very quick and vigilant with commands and will catch rulebreakers without a sweat) what plugins or what configuration files or settings have the possibility of potentially or may
be currently negatively effecting how the server is running and functioning. I can report these issues to current Super Telnet Admins, and if I become telnet, I can solve, maybe, some of these even on my own. I've also learned that reloading a server after plugin changes or configuration changes isn't as effective and recommended as to just restart. Yes, reloading a server can cause issues when using some plugins. I am also very experienced as a TotalFreedomMod admin, because many, and yes, maybe even the majority of the servers that I have hosted were supported by spigot totalfreedommod.
I have been close to earning the Senior Admin role on a server known as FeistyFreedom, no longer active, after I was recommended by a former admin or developer. I had been inactive and demoted-but was re-added-maybe not-but at least was going to be re-added-when I told this specific administrator
that the reasons for my previous inactivity were only because my personal computer (PC) had broken down. I also have applied on another freedom server, known as AquaFreedom, and was accepted, and very soon promoted to Super Telnet. I even came on the servers I was admin on just to carefully inspect
broken blocks or suspicious areas for griefers, and actually GTFOED a griefer after a rollback when I came online as the ONLY administrator. On both of these freedom servers, including one where I have applied but am not yet accepted or denied, I have been positively complimented on for my work by someone in the role of admin or higher. I also know that some commands are not appropriate to use in certain situations. For example, if I were witnessing a player god mode or creative pvping, I would not tempban them for 5 minutes if this were the first time. I would probably, maybe even give them a warn-before smiting, but often times, that smite would imply that warning. I would ban for severe rule breaking or serial rule breaking, starting at just five minutes, to multiple hours, to a twenty-four. If I was very suspicious of a specific player who did, and it was proven to me, commit severe violations of the Total Freedom sections, I would perform a permban.
6. How often can you be on the server to perform administrative duties? State either daily, several times a week, once or twice a week, or less than once a week. We realize that school or work will rightly prevent constant service.
I can probably be on the server multiple times a week, and mainly because I have a passion for server-management and administrating. I'd never get bored, so you won't have to worry about me getting a demotion for inactivity.
7. Names of admins that will directly appoint or recommended you (make sure they PM you the recommendation to avoid being accused of false recommendations)?
I was recommended by xTJG5X, a Telnet Admin, and mattlainisaking, a Super Admin. They have PM'ed me on the forums, so if you need proof, I can give that to you.
8. Are you a member of an admin crew (yes or no)? If yes, state which crew and how long have you been a member of that crew.
No
9. Do you have a family member or friend that shares your Minecraft account or a Minecraft playing family member with their own Minecraft account who might use our server or forum? (Yes or No). If so, are they presently an admin on our server? (Yes or No)
No
10. How many valid griefer reports have you filed as of this date?
I am not honestly sure how many I have filed. I know some of them were not accurate, but I have attempted to file valid griefer reports multiple times, and recently have been trying to track down griefers and use the /near command to have proof of who they are, specifically. I do know that I have filed at least two griefer reports, however-and I know that griefing is something not acceptable on Total Freedom. All players have the right for their builds to be protected and secured, so I will try to help in any way I can. I promised myself that I would from now on, as an OP that I will file any griefing reports for ANYONE I see and have proof of griefing, with no exceptions. I promise.
11. What personal qualities do you have that would make you a good admin? (answer with a short paragraph)?
I am very helpful and welcoming. Whenever a player, especially if they are new, comes on the server, I will welcome them in a way that makes them feel safe, secure, and comfortable on this server. I have a passion for this game, especially on servers and being in the role of staff, as that is an honorable position to be in. I am intelligent, and know that if I am to be admin, I must know how to speak formally and properly. For example, explaining something like how to apply for admin to a new player, I will speak so they understand me. I understand that I must be on time, sharp, and experienced for this role, and I am very confident that I am ready to be in such a position. I am hoping that I can help ensure the safety and security of this server. Yes, there are rulebreakers. However, when it comes down to it, this server is a great one at heart. I will do everything I can to ensure the safety, fun, and security of all players, with or without admin. There will be no time to take away the freedom of others. I will give this server what it says in it's name. Thankyou, and I hope you consider this application. I want to make a difference.
