I have to reset it monthly due to the wifi-sensing thing-a-ma-jig just not working. It stops working and I can't even choose airplane mode or wifi on/off. Somehow, a reset just fixes it. But wait it gets worse. this is turning into a weekly thing. its an Asus T100 or something like that, Explosives remembers, and it is Windows 8 touchscreen with detachable keyboard. Halp, and if you're just here to say "Get a new PC" or "Throw it out the window" or something useless like that, LEAVE THE THREAD.

Try 1. Contacting Asus support. 2. Throwing it out the window. 3. Getting a new PC. Don't take 2 or 3 seriously =) Someone was gonna do it

I had an Asus for a long time and that happened after a couple years of use.
Contact their support, although they'll probably say "there's nothing we can do" and tell you to get a new one. That's what they did for me!

I had an ASUS about five years ago as a laptop, and this happened. For those out to get a computer, don't get an ASUS or you will most certainly run into some bug. Anyways, you could try two options. 1. Buy a third-party Wi-Fi device (usually sold in USB format). (or) 2. Connect using an Ethernet cable (you need to be near the router for this).

That actually seems like it could work. Thanks.

this is a normal Windows 8 problem. literally just about every computer we have Windows 8 on has gone through this, including the ethernet computer.

How old is it, warrenty still good? I got it the Christmas of 2013, and it has a 2 year warranty, so it's good. I have an uncle who's a tech whiz. We can see if he can do anything before that.
