A person is either born a male or born a female. The VERY low percent of people born with both male and female organs are a minority and they should indeed seek treatment for their condition. I'm contributing to a dead thread but I should also have pointed out that intersex people make up 1.7% of the population, and can encompass people with chromosomes that don't match their genitalia, or both genitalia, or sexual organs that don't match their sex. I.e; a biological male with ovaries and both a penis and a vagina. There's really nothing wrong with intersex people, it doesn't influence their daily life in any way, it's just a simple biological trait they have. --- Sources: www.intersexequality.com/how-common-is-intersex-in-humans/

Well personally I'm bisexual and transgender. I don't really mind if you accept or not. The problem is if you don't call trans people by their respected pronouns. Even if you don't support being trans that doesn't give you a right to misgender someone. Also for the people that say that being transgender makes you mentally ill. The short answer is no. Now what causes being trans(Dysphoria) is a mental health disorder and the real best way to alleviate it is to transition. Im not an expert on this at all and there are people that can explain it better but this is kinda my view on it.

Im trans, and if we are being honest, I believe it is a disorder. Specifically, gender dysphoria. However, the treatment to this disorder would be hormones and therapy, as this is currently the only way to treat it.
However, this does not allow people to be rude to them, as depression, anxiety, bipolarism and many more other disorders are just that, a disorder. They change the way people feel and think, and the treatment ranges from therapy to medicine. This, in my idea, is not different from treatment of gender dysphoria. However, this treatment should not be given to anybody who feels that they're not the gender they are.
I had a very repressed discomfort about myself and my body. I then mentally checked off what it might, and might not be. Not internal misogyny. Not fear of being sexualized. Not fear of men in general. No trauma concerning women. No body dysmorphia.
This left me with dysphoria. It's very affecting, and caused me pain for years. After transitioning, my life changed for the better and I started to care for myself and my hygiene, mental health and body. This, to me, is in no way any different that anti depressants for depression.
Also, everybody bleeds red if i cut them open, so who cares about who is what colour or who is what?
If anybody wants to know, I'm FTM, female to male. I dont believe transitioning changes chromosomes, but it does affect DNA. As long as youre respectful to me, it's fine. Just don't scream about how I'll never be a man when I'm not even talking about it. thats like telling a depressed person that they'll never be normal and they will always be sad.
