If you break the forum guidelines you are subject to being reprimanded can you just tell me what rules are broken by someone typing milkman ran out of milk please on a slightly serious thread 2. Power-Posting. Power-posting is over-posting or posting empty, non-sensical, or other useless messages/polls. Such posts are subject to being moved to spam boards or deleted. If you like a post, use the like button as opposed to creating a one word reply and avoid one word response messages that don't add anything (e.g. ok, lol, xD, etc.). totalfreedom.boards.net/thread/8134There is plenty of precedence for people being reprimanded for typing similar messages. However that is still not my issue - I am saying that if somebody with no context looked at the threads and couldn't tell whether they are a joke or not, then that is an issue.

I was talking about Taze's resignation, not Super. Also, it does not matter. Super was one of the most memeulous people in the community. That thread is designated to him and therefore if he does want a serious thread, he could just ask someone like Jaguar to remove all the bad posts, which is basically, 99% of the whole thread. I don't understand your problem with someone typing "milkman ran out of milk" on someone else's thread, which does not correlate to you.

It doesn't matter if Super was a "memulous" Admin. The fact that people with no context can't know if the thread is a joke or not due to the responses is where the problem is. "which does not correlate to you." You don't seem to have read half of my comments on the posts. The first post I made was asking whether the resignation was a joke or not meaning that a Senior Admin couldn't even make out if the resignation was a joke.

Then maybe you should try to engage in the community more and actually understand your peers. If you knew Super you would of made a joke aswell (unless you are a brick wall). And it's your fault if you can't tell that Super has resigned by the fact that he does not have his rank anymore and where the thread is located.

Going around calling them a brick wall isn't going to make people agree with you.

I understand that some people are more serious than others but why does there have to be a whole ass thread about some jokes on a resignation thread? This just seems completely unnecessary and in the end, nothing will come out of this thread or whatever miwo is attempting to convey.

You have yet to actually argue against any of my points. If a normal OP goes on the forums and sees a resignation from one of the Admins they like (e.g. Super), and the comments are "milkman ran out of milk x2 " or "Fuck you" do you think that player will be able to know whether the resignation is a joke or not? Same goes for another reinstatement thread, wherein there were several "joke" objections which you could not make out were jokes if you had no context. It's not my fault that you can't follow forum guidelines.

This server isn't actual Free OP, because if it was, everyone would be getting banned, this shit would be an anarchy server. You can easily find context on anything if you actually looked. And I haven't broken any forum guidelines so I don't get what your point is there. OP's will have to adapt to this trollish community. The whole ass server isn't gonna change just because a singular operator doesn't know why people are saying milkman on a resignation thread. And I also don't see why an OP would care if a singular Admin resigned. If you actually look at the thread, it is 95% admins and 5% operators which have been in this community long enough to understand that the thread isn't a joke but the posts are.

This is where my point that I brought up about a week or so ago comes in. Where mostly admins and some OPs (mostly ex-admins) are ignored when it comes to breaking forum rules, but when someone Ashaz decides to powerpost or whatever, a forum sanction request is filed immediately.

but when someone Ashaz decides to powerpost or whatever, a forum sanction request is filed immediately. That's because they're especially prone to breaking the forum guidelines. If you are a repeated offender there'll be a decreased latitude in being punished.

Anecdotes aside, I agree that both staffmembers and the unranked should be punished for breaking the guidelines.

The thread regarding Super’s resignation would be a good example of lack of punishment for breaking forum guidelines.

You (plural) - I never meant to accuse you in particular of doing this. You have completely misunderstood my point, or you outright refuse to actually argue against it. First of, the server being "free-op" does not equate to it being an anarchy server. It literally just means that everyone has the "Operator" rank. An Operator or anybody for that matter should not be confused as to the nature of a formal resignation or reinstatement. It is highly inappropriate to type "object" on a reinstatement if you don't mean said objection. That of course doesn't mean that you can't joke around with these threads, but to give comments that can skew community perception of the thread is indeed not what we need. A player from TF is caught griefing and a permban request is made. 2 Admins comment with "object" and "object lmaooooo" 1 Admin comments with "vouch" Now tell me which of the three was joking. If you were to go by the example of Serrif's reinstatement, then the Admin commenting "object" is the one joking.
