Summary: Clearly there is something about FreeOP that people find more attractive than the SMP. I think it's safe to say that at this point, SMP is a bust. The SMP playtime has gone down exponentially while the FreeOP has stayed at least somewhat stagnated. Time will tell if this is going to continue to be the case, as the SMP was recently bungeed to the FreeOP.
