I dont think the problem is with ECDs elected, the problem is with the fairly limited toolset ecds actually have to do anything.

The server liaison role was only created due to the vast amount of associated servers we had, and was intended for someone to manage them. Given we have 1 maybe 0 associated servers, I personally think that role should now be retired, it's not needed. Everything you've described in the role for a server liaison officer is nothing to do with the role, and actually should fall into the executive position I held some time ago which was the Executive Evangelist position who's job it was to bring in new players and retain existing players. Personally the ECD should be responsible for the servers entire creative approach, that should include stuff like our web presence, our in game maps, our forum themes and everything. If you're going to call someone an executive, it should be because they have a wide ranging responsibility, people like the EAO have fairly wide ranging responsibilities, but most of the other executive roles have shrunk and shrunk in scope as people try to do less and less work. You're thinking of the definitions for executive positions that we operated off of a long time ago, it became confusing when "Executive Advertisement Manager" (which was the Executive Evangelist position renamed I believe) was renamed to "Executive Server Liaison" which added on the additional job of associated server management which the "Associated Server Liaison" role had years ago before it was removed. I don't even know how it got there because Seth said that the renaming of the position didn't functionally change anything, but apparently it did.

Must have missed that, but does sorta support my point. Let's either re-scope the roles, or re-name them to make them to what makes any sense.
