Yeah this is why i was hesitant to begin with. A vote is going to be made if Fionn should be granted forum mod.

Going to edit it to allow single voting threads at the will of the executive team when additional permissions are wanted.

This is a recipe for disaster... people being allowed to put up votes for themselves to receive more powers as they please and bypassing elections.

I've closed the poll and decided not to allow him to be a forum mod, however even if I went through with changing how forum mods are elected it wouldn't be the end of the world as it would still require a community vote to decide if they become a forum mod or not, it doesn't matter who starts it or not.

He doesn't need to be able to ban members. Im not the one giving him these permissions

Removed those two, and added edit post permissions Shouldn't he still be able to edit forum groups as he can technically accept applications etc so it would only make sense?

I was granted this role as per the guidance of Seth and Kae in order for more accessibility to editing and updating policies Feels like a blatant power grab especially since an assistant position shouldn't be needing "accessibility" for "editing and updating" our policies... but hey what do I know. Wasn't Internal Affairs supposed to be separate from the executive system, especially since Zeseryu left Internal Affairs once she became an executive? Feels like the rules are being changed to fit however we feel they should be. Yes IA is seperate from the Executive system, I dont see what point you're trying to make here. I ask them for feedback frequently when creating policies as they're all people who I've been working with for a while. This isn't unusual as I also ask for feedback from everyone. I left IA but they still work below me. The distinction between AEAO and an IA member is what they can do. An IA member can't update my policies, approve reinstatements, and accept admin applications.

My policies that I wrote regarding my sector? I definitely think Fionn should be able to update inconsistency and fix language. This is essential in keeping policies "up to date" as thats a huge problem on our forums. Everytime I click on a policy past 2020 it still has references to old policies that no longer exist. Fionn is also not supposed to do anything without running it by me first
