Forum administrator is weird, I don't even understand it. Only Seth, Finest, Steven, and myself are forum admins. I'm not sure on what basis people are added/removed. Added. I understand how it used to work at least. It was basically a "when Mark determines he wants more forum admins, he posts an application for seniors" and I believe he selected the best senior for the job. I think it works best for us now to use it as "Forum Manager, Owner, and EAO are guaranteed it, + one slot which is elected the same way a forum moderator is (which would be Steven's position now I guess, although obviously he wasn't elected)", since we don't want more than a very small group of people having those kinds of permissions. I like it, added!

I neglected to mention that this policy defines the process for forum moderators, but not for forum administrators. Is there any way we can add a small detail that the polling thread must also note that you are allowed to vote for multiple people? I fear that most people won't realize that you can, since ProBoards displays such small text for it and previous polls have only allowed one vote. Forum administrator is weird, I don't even understand it. Only Seth, Finest, Steven, and myself are forum admins. I'm not sure on what basis people are added/removed. Added. Seth and Finest are forum admins for obvious reasons. For the admin officer and me, we need a bit of history. Mark was inclined to give forum mod to the people who happened to be in the admin officer and security officer positions to perform their duties. That appointment was officially seperate from the executive position: both inFAmas and I spent some time as executives without forum mod. Of course, it was not really useful to do it that way, so it unofficially became part of the position. (There has never been an official policy stating that forum mod/admin is part of the admin officer position.) Notice that I'm saying mod and not admin, because it used to be the case that forum mods also had the ability to change the ranks of forum users. However, that made the distinction completely useless, because a mod could simply upgrade themselves to admin if they wanted. That is why we removed forum mod at some point and gave everyone who was a forum mod at that moment forum admin. I stand out because I'm the only one left from that club. Later, the forum mod rank was brought back without the permission to change ranks, and the people in those positions were elected instead of appointed.

@creeperseth zeseryuThis policy provision "The poll must have an apparent statement saying that you can vote for multiple applicants." wasn't executed in the forum moderator poll which was posted. Given the amount of applicants, I think it's highly necessary to use approval voting.

Yes, one single forum mod, but approval voting still means you are able to vote for multiple candidates that you approve of. See: simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Approval_voting
