Hey all, Recently I've decided it's prime time to attempt to re-start GommehFreedom, but this time I have decided to use a mod that is written from scratch instead of modifying TFM. The new GommehFreedom's lead developers are taah and CurtainPoles, PM them and myself on discord for more information if you are interested in joining us. I want this new mod, called GommehMod, to be completed as fast as possible given the current circumstances, hence me advertising the open developer positions here. What makes GommehFreedom unique in a way that it will stand out amongst other freedom servers?

What makes GommehFreedom unique in a way that it will stand out amongst other freedom servers? Well one way we are planning on standing out is the way we administrate. We intend to bring back some of the old commands such as /impl jelly and the like to make administrating more fun and entertaining while still allowing for enforcement of the server's rules. Additionally, once we get GommehMod fully written and developed I also plan to open up a factions server as well. I haven't completely thought out what I want that to be like as of yet, but it will be very different from TF's SMP. |

So the reason that makes your server unique is the how staff can administrate the server? How about the actual players? Why won't they just come to TF or some equally better server? I hope that when you do release your server/s you do really consider what is going to make them different and what's going to bring players to you. Don't take this personally, I always make these 'what makes your server different' posts on every new server thread that comes up. Mostly, because owners jump straight into the server developing process without having a clear/good idea of what the server can and will be. I myself fell into that very trap many years ago, with the forever extinct FilezFreedom (I just realised that elmon found the forums and registered a couple of months back. He was the first person to register in 5 years >_> ) Don't underestimate the power of planning! Good luck. |

Update: the server itself is currently under a whitelist cause the devs still need to do some security/admin stuff, but you can still feel free to join our forums and discord

We also plan on starting a factions server as well and integrating it with the free OP server in the future, but that’s currently taking a back seat to developing GommehMod.
