Me and TNTGollum thought it would be cool to have /ah on the server. It can serve as a way for people to sell items/kits.
And yes, anyone can just do /eco, but it would still be cool to be able to find new items through /ah. If you want to avoid people just doing /eco give, maybe use the /coins currency, instead of /bal.
The auctionhouse would be a cool little feature for people who make/collect kits.

vouch however the ah would be over-saturated with duplicates of something, one guy can just buy the kit and duplicate it 500 times and sell them. if you can avoid this, it'll be better.

Doesn't sound bad or easily exploitable. Sure, items can be duplicated or recreated, but people are not forced to buy them. Vouch.

We could just make it so that only one copy of an item can be for sale at a time. That way only the original creator can have it in the auction until someone buys it.

Cool suggestion, but I wish I want my kit to be the first to list or sold in ah.

Neutral. Yeah, it would be a cool feature, but it would feel like an unnecessary addition. By the creative nature of the server, when one player obtains the kit through "buying" with coins or via inventory editing in cheaty hacky ways, it can be mass-reproduced. With one person alone it's able to redistribute the kit/item without the original owners' permission of doing so. Maybe for kit/item makers it feels nice, but for your average Joe it feels like putting a price tag on something that was originally free. Would it be cool for people to be able to host their kits on a specific place with something of similar design of AH? Hell yeah, players' works get recognized and distributed. Not a bad thing at all and even could reinforce the community. Would it still be cool if you implement the coin system and have an economy? That's really hard to tell. We could just make it so that only one copy of an item can be for sale at a time. If you just compare the NBT of one item to another, you can tell whether or not the item is the same. But seeing how easy it is to edit an item with Itemizer to just add on a few extra invisible characters in the item's display to circumvent it, it probably would be really hard to implement a proper "copyright" system. Edit: In reply to Steven.

Edit: In reply to Steven. You are right, but copycats cannot copy the item until the original creator has created it, so if we sort the auction by time added, most people will see the original item first.

For those people who are concern about copycats, there is a way to prevent this by cancelling the player interaction event if the opened inventory is the auction.
