Hello! With close work with neroblackcat & zevante we have decided that the best course of action would be the rebranding and removing of the position Assistant Executive Admin Officer or (AEAO).
We'd like to post some general information to clear up any questions that you may have.
A new rank will be introduced, called Internal Affairs or (IA)
We, zeseryu & zevante , will have the responsibility to:
- Main TF’s community values
- Act as a mediator for administrator related disputes
- Tailor to the needs of the players over an admin’s entitlement
- Correct and fix administrator faults and issues.
Essentially this division is created to ensure admin quality and see that admins are doing their job. We also want to work with admins who may be incorrectly performing their duties and correct them.
To uphold these responsibilities the we will have the power to:
- The ability to suspend Super admins, Telnet admins, and Senior admins
The IA team is looking for people to help act as information gatherers in the IA division. They will also be granted the power of forum administrator, however, this is strictly so they can gather forum security logs. They will not be permitted to delete any forum content or lock any threads.
This new rank does not have power to override the Admin Officers final ruling, rather we're just glorified assistants. We will still have to report any actions we take and the Admin Officer.
We want to make sure this doesn't turn into an OpWatch situation. We're prioritizing rehabilitation and improvement of the overall community. If it does come to an extreme and an admin must be removed, this will be with agreement with the Admin officer.
