If the majority vote for less than 100x100 I will make a new poll where I will give some size options.
I want to know the general community consensus on the plot world and the plot sizes. Some time ago I made a thread where I asked for the removal of MB or that we at least made some changes to the plot world. Some of these changes have now been implemented, but personally I still think the plots are a tad too big (they are 100x100 currently). I propose that we size them down to 50x50 max, perhaps even 25x25 and I’ll list some reasons as to why I want it this way.
In the thread I speak of I mentioned that I had talked with xfilez in regards to the plot world. What we go to was
I would also add a multitude of different creative plugins to the plot world. This could include:
We also spoke about the possibility of giving the MBs some perks in the plot world. When I say perks, I mean that the MB would have their plot prioritized compared to the average player. Does this promot equality among ranks? Not really, but that’s not really the issue here. The perks we spoke of are as follow:
MB’s plots would be the closest plots to spawn. This would be done by 'pushing away' standard plots to make room for the MB plots
This way their plots would be the first thing a player sees when they type /plotworld – them getting greeted with a nice and organized canvas of pretty MB plots would be better than them getting greeted with plots that have a 5x5 square dirt house. This is what a lot of the major creative servers do – they prioritize the prettiest plots, and make sure that they are the first thing the player sees, when they enter the plot world. Another reason for this addition is the fact that this would make it more apparent to the average player that we actually have a prestigious rank that you can attain by building: because currently, there is no way a player will know that the MB rank exists without them seeing an MB on the server or on the forums.
Now to further explain my reasoning behind smaller plot sizes:
if a player wants to make a larger build, then that build is not fit for the plot world, and they should instead go to the flatlands or the normal world. What is the point in having a plot world, if you make the plot sizes so big, that they might as well built in the normal world? The only reason then would be the low risk of a reset in the world, but this is just a way to circumvent another problem. Why not make it so that we have to reset the normal worlds less often, instead of covering up the problem with yet another world?
One of the best features of a plot world is the fact that you can quickly browse a multitude of unique builds. But to be able to do this, you have to make the plot sizes some-what compact. I would rather be able to 10-30 plots -AT ONCE- than only being able to see 5-10 plots – it just makes it more appealing to the eye. This would also make it faster for the player to get some inspiration from other players in the community.
I realize that people have already begun building on their plots, but what's stopping us from asking them to do //wand > //Copy > //Schem save? It can't be that hard.
If you want me to elaborate feel free to ask.

- Players should be able to claim as many plots as they like (perhaps they could first claim a new plot after a certain time interval like 7 days or more)
- A plot would be reset if it was not built upon (see my thread here: totalfreedom.boards.net/thread/64494/delete-inactive-plots-world-suggestion)
- A plot is just that – a plot of land. This means that the essence of the plot world should be to give the player a small plot of private land to build upon. Thus they shouldn’t be much bigger than 25x25, 30x30 or 50x50 MAX.

- Unlimited WE access (within the plot of course). Like unlimited brush sizes. No banned blocks (within reason) etc.
- Voxel Sniper (if possible)
- Go Brush (if possible)
- And so on.
