Imagine being sucked up in the economy. You could've fucking bought a pixel 3 xl and call it a day. Disgusting. My Pixel 1 regularly struggles and is weaker than my S6 edge. Won't be buying another Pixel. eh well i had a good experience with it

Imagine spending 1500$ on a phone that's worse then what can be bought for 500$. there's no such thing as "worse" it just depends on whichever phone the person likes better. also, it's 1000$ not 1500.

Imagine spending 1500$ on a phone that's worse then what can be bought for 500$. Why do you all care so much about the price, especially when it isn't even from your own pocket? If they can afford it and like it, what's so bad about it?

All I'm saying is that whatever preference you have, all you're paying for is the brand and can literally be found in other phones for a different cost. Also, what I define as "worse" is when there is for example: less random access memory (RAM), lower clock speed, ect. Sorry if I upset anyone.

Sorry if I upset anyone. no, you're paying for the ecosystem, the fluidity of the os, the UI, the tight integration between products in the ecosystem & between hardware and software due to it being the same manufacturer, the reliability and long update availability, etc. and the A12 bionic still hasn't been beaten so "lower clock speed" doesn't matter. what's on paper differs from the real world, due to stuff like optimization of software. same thing with the ram. the number doesn't matter as much because iOS is much better at managing memory.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Android phones tend to have much shorter update spans and they're much fewer and far between as well.

I really am not rich and bathing in money. I just don't buy a new phone every year but the media always compares phones to last years model, not an iPhone 6s or Google Pixel. It becomes more worth it when you have an older phone that's 2-4 years old, not last years model
