CPUs - AMD is allegedly going to unveil their Ryzen 3000 series at CES 2019. According to some allegedly leaked information, they can be a serious threat to Intel since some of the new chips can supposedly match or even outclass Intel's desktop flagship, the i9-9900K, at a lower price. www.digitaltrends.com/computing/amd-ryzen-3000-cpu-everything-you-need-to-know/GPUs - AMD's upcoming Navi GPUs are rumored to rival the GTX 1080/RTX 2070, GTX 1070, and GTX 1060 at $250, $200, and $130 respectively. Although there is no ray-tracing involved, the raw value of the cards and the lack of good ray-tracing in games can mean trouble for Nvidia. They will also allegedly appear at CES 2019. wccftech.com/rumor-amd-navi-10-to-launch-in-mid-2019-compete-with-rtx-2080/Note - These rumors are still relatively new, so take what you see with a grain of salt. However, this has me looking forward to seeing what AMD has to show as CES 2019.
