On October 6th, I made a commit to fix the bat spawning bypass. It was due to a coding error and not only allowed bats to be spawned in, but giants also. People were spamming giants in today and it was lagging the server significantly. I made a PR to backport everything from the 1.13 update to the 1.12 branch, because even though development stopped, it seems as if we aren't getting 1.13 soon. It hasn't been merged, but at bare minimum can we get the bat/giant mob spawning glitch backported. Proof:
