MineChat can't connect to TF, but computer can? Aug 22, 2018 1:06:14 GMT

I opened Telnet to see why I couldn't connect via MineChat, and saw this error message:

<My IP> lost connection: Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.lang.RuntimeException: An internal error occured.

Any ideas why this may be?

SA - 1/15/15
STA - 5/15/15
SrA - 7/19/20
