Beforehand, I'd like to state that I have no issues with the builders of the spawn, I simply believe that the spawn doesn't fit with the idea of the MBW.
The current Wonderland build (for those who don't know) consists of rolling hills and ruins with some nice trees here and there. It's a beautiful build but it won't work for establishing a community building location or the foundations of a city. The spawn is simply too large for a city to feasibly stretch the circumference of, and thus; many areas around the build will be void of builds unless we all built upwards of 15 large builds each around the perimeter of the spawn. Even if we all pitched in and built a ludicrous amount, that would simply create another problem in expanding on that.
As far as the build itself goes, about 90% of it was just made on voxelsniper. This is indicitave of laziness in my honest opinion. Due to this, I feel the integrity [authenticity] is lost to mass terrain editing instead of the classic hand made or //brush terrain . The current terrain looks unnatural and uninspired, especially when compared to the aforementioned method of terrain creation. The rolling hills created by voxelsniper will never house builds due to it being spawn and the terrain being extremely difficult to build on. The hills offer no opportunity for expansion with rivers and dams and other unique environmental aspects. Any build outside of spawn will be a stark contrast to the empty hills of the spawn and look out of place.
If any attempt at creating a community building area as proposed in the original master builder world is to be done, then I say we either reduce the size of the Wonderland build and apply a change in the method of terraformimg to allow for a more diverse set of scenary. For now, however, I'll either be building on shadow.ga or in an entirely separate area from the spawn.
Edit: the //copy //rotate //paste trees are horrid also I'm moving this to server builds and maps so that it shows up in new posts because God know nobody checks the MB area

I could always paste the build somewhere else. I think the idea was to have a list of coordinates to different builds at spawn. Or, we could just scrap the project and make a more functional spawn on the actual server.

It will need to be sliced bit by bit though since it's so big.

If you guys are happy with scrapping the spawn and creating another one to better suit the world, I'll be more than happy to support that decision.

I'll likely attempt it on shadow.ga in the coming days. Not too large to expand upon, just a central starting block that can be changed. If the other builders want to make a server for it, I'll gladly join that to help

I know that Hover had his server that the group used to build the current map, but I'm not sure how available that is right now. Either way, doing it on shadow.ga sounds good to me.

World Machine being the best and easiest Map Maker for games. Converting it to Minecraft would be easy enough.

I don't see a problem with using Voxel. Just because it makes it easier doesn't mean we're lazy.

You are mentally fucked if you think we use world edit to shape and form mountains. World machine is very different from your average world making tool since it does the terraforming by calculation. I'll continue this reply later on I'm going to school
