For the huge amount of policies this server has, I've always found all of them reasonable, except one: the resignation policy. Why does it matter if we use the words "resignation", "retirement", "quit", "gone" (quoting from the policy)? They're not swear words. I don't think we should have any kind of policy attached to those words. I believe the purpose behind it was to help distinguish between the admins who leave in good standing and those who don't. A rage quit message full of insults and/or threats would likely be treated in a different manner than someone who 'resigned' because they were busy at school or work. I do agree with making the suggested change. |

Agreed, that's what the second paragraph is about. I don't just see the purpose of attaching it to some random words. |

I have had seen too many problems and disasters in association with the resignation policy. It wastes good admins that just want a short break and want removing. I almost felt compelled to leave an objection on squares reinstatement but I wanted to vouch, I did vouch in the end.
