I have a HP laptop running Windows 8 from 2016/2015. It's a HP Folio 9470m. This laptop went through a lotIt originally came with windows 8, I upgraded it to Windows 10, it broke, changed the hard-drive, got windows 10 working, after about 5 months, had to change another hard-drive, and yesterday, I had to change ANOTHER hard-drive. Everything was working fine at first, but now I can't seem to find the bluetooth option in settings. I know I have bluetooth, since I was using it just fine for 2 years, and I checked all the components, everything was attached. I opened Device Manager, I can't seem to find bluetooth, but I ticked the "Show hidden devices" box, and I see bluetooth grayed out. Did I fuck up anything in the BIOS? Or is the adapter just dead? Because all of my USB ports are acting up, I can't even use a USB mouse. I have a bluetooth mouse, and it's working fine, for the most part. Any help would be appreciated, no "have you tried turning it off and on again" please. Attachment Deleted

since it literally says GenericAdapter i give you one idea
get the drivers.
if you're having to change the harddrive every few months:
just buy a new computer
and all your worries will disappearâ„¢

Rightclick the Generic Bluetooth Adapter and select "Update driver". It's possible that you need to uninstall the generic one first.

Uninstalled the driver, and now another device is missing a driver, intel centrino advanced-n + wimax 6250. Manually installed a Wireless driver from Intel, but still no bluetooth.
