Before I start. I have **absolutely** no problem with Apple fans, they can do what they like, its their opinion. Also another note, I am going to be inactive for a couple months until i'm finished at college.
Anyway.
But, I just hate those ignorant people, who think the only Androids that exist are Samsung. They state a load of facts that are a load of crap:
*"The camera is too pixely" Considering the last Samsung you had was a Galaxy s3 Mini, and you're comparing it to an Iphone 6 just continues my point.
My absolute **biggest** pet hate is when people just think all androids are Samsung. But there are so many forms of Android out there that have much better specs. I used to have an s6 edge, and moved to a OnePlus5t and never looked back.
"I don't want a phone that's going to blow up". Considering that was the Note 7, again, a **SAMSUNG**. There are crazy amounts of other brands of Android who didn't have this problem. Its just crazy how stupid people can be.
I'm just sick of the people who find themselves superior for buying a stupidly overpriced phone. Its interesting to see how society. Go for the most popular, not necessarily the best value.
We could argue "I don't want a phone that I can't download from the internet on"
"I don't want a phone where the charging cable will break in a day"

I want a phone with a standard headphone jack. I want a phone that doesn't have planned obsolescence. I want a phone that can easily be programmed for. I want a phone that can actually survive without a case.
I don't want a phone that becomes unusable after one accidental drop. I don't want a phone that is just a fucking screen. I don't want a phone that is extremely overpriced. I don't want a phone that favors size over portability. I don't want a phone that is a pain in the ass to replace the battery.
...and the list goes on.

Rant time: First of, the Galaxy S3 Mini was my last phone. I now have the Galaxy S8. The S3 actually has some better things then even new iPhones for one. Two, you are correct, the Note 7 was the only phone that did "blow up" and it wasn't exactly Samsung's fault either. Samsung can still carry some blame, yes, but it was not 100% their fault IMO. Next up, you are correct, there are so many more androids than Samsung. I personally like Samsung's products but that's just me. Next up, I've actually heard people say Apple's displays are better. They are made (at least the new ones) by Samsung. Next up on the list, cables. I've never had a problem with android cables. Ever. Like never ever. Also, I like my earbuds better than Apple's. Even though not mentioned here, we have the issue of compatibility. Apple goes out of their damn way to make their phones incompatible. If Apple made pants, they'd purposely make it so you need a special belt to hold them up. I think my rant is done for now. Call me out on anything you find untrue if you so wish. Also please let me know if any clarification is needed. I wrote this rant in a rush and could not care for readability rn.

Seems like some serious anti-Samsung bias here. Sure, Samsung has had their issues (the Note 7, S5, and some others) but the Galaxy line has matured a lot since it was introduced. The Note 8 is an amazing phone, and trust me I did a ton of research before buying one. Also remember that the Galaxy Note is one of the phones that inspired the larger screens we see today on so many phones. The best phone manufacturer on the market changes all the time. Sometimes it is Samsung. Other times it has been LG, or another brand. Just because a brand is good now does not mean it will be so later. Same goes for a brand doing poorly.
I do understand your frustration at fanboys, though it applies not to just Apple fanboys but all of them. What annoys me the most is when a fanboy calls everyone who disagrees a troll. I've seen that sort of thing in comment sections of tech news articles.

Pixel 2 XL - $1,398.00 Galaxy S9+ - $ 839.99 iPhone X - $999.00 5. android displays have been getting nothing but bigger, as well 6. samsung has made it increasing more difficult to replace the batteries on the S9, iFixit gave it a 4 for repairability

No it wasn't used or a % off, it was this price am not kidding and the phone is from 2017, brand new excellent working phone just for that money. If you keep looking through the internet you can find some stuff that are Hell YEAH worth to buy quite cheap.

Why has noone stated the obvious: apple devices are hell to develop for.
Not only do you need xcode, which is only available on macintosh computers, to even compile the shit. You also need to use overly complicated systems to then actually get the software on the phone. Oh, you wanted to let others use your software? Fuck you, pay us money every year to put it on the only functioning marketplace in the world.

And if you want to develop on Windows, install Mac OS on a VM? I agree with the $99 fee every year being dumb though.
