Intel's 10nm process has screwed up AGAIN, and now there won't be any 10nm CPUs from Intel until 2nd half 2019. At the same time, GlobalFoundries and TSMC, who provide manufacturing for AMD, are doing quite well. If Intel doesn't step up their game well enough with Whisky Lake, AMD could possibly take the market.

AMD has 12nm already and Intel is currently at 14nm. Unless they do something, Intel is about to lose at their own game. I honestly hope that happens too. Intel stagnated the CPU market for several years, and I wouldn't mind seeing them pay the price for it.
