As a soldier in the united states military, this is offensive on many levels; I defend the country to prevent attacks like it, and it's sickening that someone wanted to recreate that moment in any way unless to build a commemoration to those who have fallen. I cannot tell from the contents of the post whether or not this was the intention behind creating this structure. However, I can tell you that a temporary memorial such as one in a video game is in bad taste especially for a game with a fan base of mostly children, if not disrespectful entirely. A memorial to commemorate should be permanent, not temporary.

The military invaded countries that didn't attack them and killed millions of innocent civilians in response to a single terror group's actions, and it took a decade later to even kill the leader (the CIA had to illegally invade another country that didn't attack them to do that by the way). The point is that we don't care about 9/11 happening every day in the countries that we attack for no apparent reason, so don't expect people to care about our single 9/11 (which happened well over a decade ago by the way). Oh yeah and the fact that this happened on Minecraft and video game and all that other shit

I'm sorry you're offended by my right to defend my country. Not my problem.

I'm sorry you're offended by my right to defend my country. Not my problem. Didn't say that at all, 9/11 happens every day in countries that we attack for no apparent reason and millions of innocent civilians in those countries have been murdered, it's even gotten to the point where American citizens in foreign countries get killed in drone strikes. No one talks about that though or gets upset about it, but when 2 buildings in a first world country get hit everyone goes apeshit. Fun fact, 9/11 was inspired by America's own attacks on buildings in foreign countries that killed innocent civilians. Really before you get upset about something so minor which isn't even meant to be offensive, remember what your own military is doing.

A better title would have been something like 9/11 Memorial in Minecraft.

Really before you get upset about something so minor which isn't even meant to be offensive, remember what your own military is doing. 3000 civilians do not die everyday. Three thousand civilians is close to the entire estimate for civilians killed by coalition in Syria and Iraq over the last 3 years (although numbers have spiked dramatically since Trump took office). Whenever even a small number of civilians die there is massive news coverage of it, certainly not memorializing it years later, but that's how the world works. American's don't memorialize the attacks in Paris, but I bet you those living in Paris do. If you're going to spew bullshit at least make a reasonable statement. Now for instance your 7 interventions the US is involved with, Afghanistan has a medium presence, Somalia has a low presence, Libya has a low presence, Nigeria has a low presence, the Philippines has a low presence, American active presence in Iraq is extremely pulled back at this point and Syria is the only country now where you get true amounts of civilians killed. 3000 a day is something not even Islamic State propaganda would claim because it's so factually inaccurate that not even a diehard supporter would believe that absurd number.

"9/11 happens every day" is evidently hyperbole. America killed millions of innocent people through unjust invasions of countries that didn't attack them though, correct? The point is what we've done in the middle east is 10000x worse than the one thing that has happened to us.

Since I was born on 9/11 I thought that I would re-create it inside of Minecraft. I will edit this post with images when the first draft of the build is completed. 2001? If you were born that day. Thats tragic

Paldiu: I don't care if you are a soldier or not - I won't give up my right to express myself, even if it gets me banned from this forum. It was never my intention to make anybody angry or mad, but if it's caused by my own creativity then so be it. America is that one kid at school who goes around punching people for no reason and then throws a hissy fit and starts screaming if someone slaps them back - I'm not saying 9/11 was good or anything, I simply thought it would be an interesting idea to re-make it in Minecraft.
If this gets moved to spam and drama, I will just make another one.
