I am aware of the admin deactivation requests policy, but I sent a PM to infamas97 stating that I wish to be indefinitely removed. I purposely didn't 'resign' because I knew that I might want to come back - and I do. Since I sent a message stating that I only wanted to be removed indefinitely, do I still need to file a reinstatement in 30 days? I doubt that I do, and I would hope not - please inform me.

I do not think you need to file a reinstatement - Just PM infamas97; Or you can just make the reinstatement as you are auto-accepted for inactivity.
