I would like to remind applicants of the importance of reviewing the pre-application checklist before they apply. Nine times out of ten, I see applicants that file an application and they say that they have reviewed the checklist and have met the standards, yet they are clearly not eligible - if you can't accept the risks or you don't understand the checklist, ask any questions you have about it or otherwise don't apply until you are more prepared. The checklist is here: totalfreedom.boards.net/thread/38666/admin-pre-application-checklist. Good luck.

Yeah it isn't as important as you put on. I didn't read it once, and I only read the conduct policy for quotes for other people. I guess after being here for this long, you sort of know what's in the conduct policy and what's not.

we should underline and bold the FORUM part I'm not quite sure that'd still work though. It might make most people notice, but some people will still not see it

Perhaps put a big RED BOLD warning about it in the admin application TEMPLATE. I say the template because most applicants don't even read the checklist so most would notice it. Perhaps also impose sanctions on those who ignore the warning?

Perhaps put a big RED BOLD warning about it in the admin application TEMPLATE. I say the template because most applicants don't even read the checklist so most would notice it. Perhaps also impose sanctions on those who ignore the warning? I agree, most people applying for Super Admin doesn't read the checklist, and thinks it's ok to just apply. And 1+ recommendation is required to apply too. But ops just ignores the requirement and applies, it makes them looks power-hungry. I suggest to wait til they have a rec, then apply. Any suggestions on this one?

It's honestly gotten to the point where I have a copy paste template of what to say on admin applications that don't meet requirements

This. The funny thing is; when the op goes into the thread, he should instantly see "Pre-Application Checklist" the op's brain should instantly go, "maybe I should check because if I want to be a future admin, I need to be in good order" but most applications I see, are just plain stupid and don't follow most requirements, too be honest; it's become a low chance of a applicant actually following requirements, just following the requirements actually beats most of the recent applicants. When I was first admin, the application was pretty good, most of them followed requirements and they followed the template, now it's rare to even see to follow simply the few basic requirements. Thanks for the thread, even though most of them don't listen because if they can't check the pre-application checklist why would they view this thread, I hope they do though, thanks mychaeljkmax
