One of my friends (@fionn123 ) suggested that I use HotSpot Shield. I installed it at hotspotshield.com, and once I opened it- I wasn't able to access my internet after even after restarting my PC.
I tried removing it, but it wouldn't remove because the file was in use.
I really need help removing it, and if anyone could give me advice removing it- I would really appreciate it.

You could always try starting in safe mode, which should only load essential system components and allow you to remove any unwanted software.

It works for me so I don't see any reason for it not to work for you.. Weird...

You should not be using HotSpot Shield by any means.
They track what you're doing and sell your real IP address and data to third parties and governments. It's a literal meme in the VPN world. Even CyberGhost is better as a free VPN.

I think the most simple way is either Madgeek 's solution or Lemon 's solution

(am I the only one thinking how you are posting if HotspotShield is blocking your internet access?) I was using an IPad I sometimes use for TotalFreedom. ONT: The issue has been resolved. I am requesting this thread to be locked.
