I have a small GIGABYTE Gaming PC and an ASUS monitor. When I play some bigger games or modded minecraft, after 5 minutes the monitor turns off while the PC is still actually working. I suspect this is an issue of overheating, but you guys can probably get me the correct answer. Thoughts?

Does the monitor actually power off or does the computer stop sending video to the monitor? Does it come back on its own? Do you have to restart the computer to fix it? Can you post your computer's specs? Could you please post a screenshot of your "Sensors" and "Graphics Card" tabs in GPU-Z? ( GPU-Z Download Link - www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-gpu-z/ )

I've experienced this before, and I believe that it may be an issue with spamming the power button constantly to turn it on (this might be the case).

When I first bought it and turned it on, it was working fine, but then after a week or so, it started to make weird noises when turning on.
