I was actually using a desktop as an example and not a laptop, my bad for not clarifying. Your example does explain why the supposed spirits caught on the ghost box by Huff Paranormal always seem to be worried or terrified and want to "find the light", whatever that means. I believe the video in the OP also shows that they complained about it being 'hard' to use the ouija board over the ghost box (or vice versa, I forget). It could mean that their spiritual energy is running out. So let's assume these are real, why are they able to communicate with us? Your brain cells would stay intact (scientists found that an 800 year old fossil had intact brain cells, look it up). Cant pinpoint on how exactly they have memories. Maybe it lasts as long as the brain is intact and hasn't decomposed. If their energy is truly being depleted, they would of course find it hard. Why are they able to communicate is also hard to pinpoint but the most reasonable explanation I can come up with is the law of conservation of energy. According to this law, energy can neither be created not destroyed. It can only be converted from one form to another. So I assume that the spirits have the ability to convert spiritual energy into small amounts of kinetic energy. Apart from communication, there is a much broader question: Why aren't we able to see them? All sources of energy have some signs of existence. Electricity has electrons. Kinetic energy has motion, whereas potential the opposite. Surely there must be something to identify them without the help of a 3rd party. Hmm, so it's basically that period death survivors experience for a few minutes before they're revived but it's fatal? And it would just be the spirit and the brain until decomposition, and when decomposition occurs, I guess that's when the nothingness occurs because the brain pretty much is you, so even if you have spiritual energy still it doesn't matter. Could this mean though that the 800 year old fossil with intact brain cells could still be a spirit? But yeah I really wish there was evidence for this theoretical science, and even if it doesn't exist, we could use science to make it exist. We could start preserving the human energy and brains and come up with a solution to communicate.

That would explain why we go to nothingness after our brain decomposes. The 800 year old fossil could perhaps even be conscious (I'm telling that without doing any research on it so, I'm sorry if I missed something crucial there). And yes, I agree too. It would be nice to have a scientific explanation to everything. But then there would nothing to be curious over and that would be boring.

Spirits do exist. They take on either a form of energy or a form that is human but hard to catch. I have seen spirits (a 6-year-old girl from the 1950's currently residing in my house with us, she died from falling in a well that was once in my house and was buried alive. paranormal investigators came by and proved it) and some are good and some are bad. Sometimes on other cases you feel their presence such as a sudden spot of warmth in an old house where someone or something tragically died. The Old Jail in Pennsylvania has many spirits and I even managed to get a picture of one (I will put it up in a few minutes) and the spirits there had all negative energy; it made me feel very uneasy and uncomfortable. I'd been poked, touched, and had my hair pulled. This 6th sense is only prevalent in some individuals. However, it is automatically in children. Children are said to possess this 6th sense and if whether or not still follow it, will keep the 6th sense as they get older. My mother and grandmother both retain it and I do as well.
About Ouija boards, never. use. them. alone. ALWAYS use them with a group; when done you MUST say "goodbye" as you could in a sense "open a portal" for bad spirits to dwell in the household and cause bad things to happen.

Could we see the picture you got? I actually have an ouiji board, I purchased it around 2 years ago after hearing strange noises and things falling in rooms and the attick. I used it, but after having a bad experience I put it back in its box and haven't used it since. I tend to avoid its location.

Technically it's my mother's but she said she's giving it to me as part of my inheritance. Furthermore, I don't think I will ever use it. I am curious, but I have heard of what bad things can happen if one uses it alone and forgets steps.

The house I live in has actually been around since 1901, from my knowledge.

As a little bit of interest, look up the history of your address--you may find a tragedy that happened if it was built that long ago. Post back with what you find

But how can you just say that 'spirits do exist' without giving any evidence? And please give us that photograph you took with evidence that its yours and if possible, provide the claims of the paranormal investigators.

Can you provide some evidence? You made some very tough claims there The portal shit is religious nonsense, the video in the OP had a homemade ouija board with only the essentials and no goodbye and nothing bad happened. It's not real.

The house I live in has actually been around since 1901, from my knowledge. Your house has been around since 1901 and you blame loud bangs and objects moving on an Ouija board? What's more likely is that the foundations of your house are weak (very weak compared to modern houses) and therefore the house would be more affected by minor earthquakes, etc. There are millions of valid explanations for that and an Ouija board is an irrational one.

When it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers."
