Hello! This is a thread for OP's to see administrator commands and how to use them (or for administrators who have forgotten commands).
I recommend watching the TF training videos if you struggle reading long paragraphs, they can be found here:
totalfreedom.boards.net/thread/53692/total-freedom-training-video-updated - (new) by Mike
totalfreedom.boards.net/thread/15475/various-admin-training-videos - by older admins
I recommend watching Mike's, as it is more up to date with current commands.
Colour Code: (Thanks to jwmphall )
Commands generally used for punishment
Commands that should be used sparingly or in dire situations
Commands generally safe for use in moderation and can be useful for admins to use regularly.
Harmless commands
Commands that are conditional to operators
Basic Commands:
These are the most basic administrator commands, don't worry, they are all easy to learn off by heart!
/gtfo [Username] [Reason] - This command perm bans a player, however markbyron clears the ban list everyday, so it lasts around 24 hours. [/font]
/stfu [Username] - This mutes a player for 5 minutes.[/font]
To then unmute a player, it is "/mute purge" or "/stfu purge"(Which purges all mutes)
/opall - Self explanatory, OP's all players on the server.[/font]
/smite [Username] [Reason] - Smite's a player.
[/font]/blockcmd [Username] - Blocks a player's commands (Some admins prefer to use /smite [Username] [Reason]. Used for spamming commands.
To then unblock commands, use "/blockcmd purge".
/say [Text] - Say's something, for example, if you do "/say Don't GMC PvP!" It would look like this: [Server:Lieutenant_Seal] Don't GMC PvP!
/rb [Username] - Rollback a players destroyed/placed blocks, use coreprotect to find out who destroyed what (See bottom of thread)
To undo a rollback, do:"/rb undo [Username][/font]"
/tempban [Username] [Time] [Reason] - Temporaily bans a player, some administrators prefer to use: "/noob [Username] [Reason]" Which bans a player for 5 minutes.
/cmdspy - Command Spy.
Other Commands:
These are commands that are done often, not all the time.
/invis - Tells you all invisible players.
/wh [Item] - (Who has) Check to see which players have a certain item (Good for checking which players are using lag fireworks or death potions, e.g. /wh potion).
/glist ban [Username] [Reason] - Offline bans a player.
To then unban an offline player do: "/glist unban [Username]".
/potion clearall - Removes all potion effects from ALL players (This includes administrators).
/nc - Cleans all nicknames, this then shows you players who's nicknames have been 'cleaned'.
/ew - Removes all server entities.
/mp - Purges (removes) all mobs.
/purgeall - Purge's all player data.
/adminworld - Teleports you to the Admin World.
/uall - Undisguises all players.
/bre - Blocks all redstone
/capatachfy [on/off] [friendly/moderate/strict] - Capatachfy is a plugin which makes players fill out a capatcha before logging in, it is used to stop spam bot attacks. Friendly would be just ticking the box, moderate is ticking 1 set of pictures, strict is ticking two sets of pictures. (I believe)
Rare Commands:
These commands are rarely used.
/cage [Username] - Cage's a player, this is a rare command to use on players (It isn't usually used).
To in-cage someone, either do: "/cage [Username] Off" or "/cage purge" (Purging all cages).
/fr - Freezes all players (This is rarely used, however is sometimes used to catch speed griefers/trollers).
/toggle lockdown - Lock's the server and doesn't allow anyone (apart from administrators) to join, usually used when there is a spam bot attack and no telnet+ is online to transfer the game to online mode.
/expel - Throws all nearby players away from you.
/saconfig info [Username] - View your supered IP's, for example, if I did "/saconfig info Tango_Mango" it would come up with the IP I am on and any other supered IP's.
To then clear these previous IPs (Apart from your current IP, this is recommended to be done regularly for your safety), do: "/myadmin clearips".
/orbit - Orbit's a player into the air (sends them flying into the air vertically)[/font]
/setl - Resets everyone's World Edit (W/E) Limit to 2500.
/ro [Block] [Radius] - Remove All, to remove all blocks near players, for instance, if there is a crash chest, you can do: "/ro chest 50".
/cake - Gives all players cake.
/seen - This shows a players IP and how long they have been online
/whois - Shows a players: Nickname, Health, Hunger, Exp, Location (world and co-ordinates), Money, IP Address, Gamemode, God mode (True/false), OP (True/False), Fly mode (True/False) (flying/not flying), AFK (True/False)
I italiced the ones that are important to administration
/stop - Stops the server, Please do not use it unless given permission.
/gcmd - This sends a command through someone (Used to rollback a world edit)
To use, do /gcmd [Player-name] [Command] - For example, if I wanted to rollback a world edit someone did, (take for example TheMinecraft), I'd do:[/font] /gcmd TheMinecraft /undo
Like a normal world edit undo, you can include the amount
/myadmin [clearips] [setlogin] - "/myadmin clearips" clears all IP's you have logged on with except the one you are currently on. "/myadmin setlogin [Message]" sets your login message
Explanation of /gadmin:
/gadmin [kick] [nameban] ipban] [ban] [op] [deop] [ci] [fr] [smite] <hash>
- This allows admins to smite etc other admins and operators. How to use:
[/font]Firstly, do "/gadmin list". This should give you a list that looks like this
[Real Name] [Display Name] [Hash]
Lieutenant_Seal Seal 48hg
The real name is the players name (markbyron, Lieutenant_Seal, TheMinecraft) and the Display name is the /nickname (Seal, Mark). The hash is the code that you must use to do the action too that person.
For example, to smite markbyron using /gadmin, I would do "/gadmin list" which would generate this in my chat:
[Real Name] [Display Name] [Hash]
markbyron Mark 74hf
I would then do "/gadmin smite 74hf" as '74hf' is mark's hash.
Explanation of coreprotect:
Quick explanation of what is used on the server of core protect:
This server uses core protect now instead of log blocks, so (in my opinion) it is mandatory that admins know about core protect and how to use it basically.
Firstly, to activate your 'log block' do "/co i"[/font] (core protect inspector)
You can destroy / place any block, and it will give you a history of who did what there, for example, on blocks it would show this:
This shows the time, who, what they did and what block.
However on chests it shows this:
Once you figured out who griefed an area with core protect inspector, you have to roll them back with core protect.
To do this: "/co rollback [IGN] t:[time]h r:[blocks/global]"
t:[time]h is the time in hours, if I wanted to rollback Jorge_Andrews as shown above, I could either do that amount of time the inspector had shown (2.97) or I could do 24, (a day/24 hours). The time works simple just add: t:[hours]h
[/font]Remember to add the "h" at the end, without it it will not work!
the "r:[blocks/global]" is the radius of the rollback. For example, if I wanted to rollback someone within 100 block radius of me, I would do "r:100" and that would be a radius of 100 blocks. To roll them back all over the world, do "r:global".
If I wanted to rollback someone for griefing, again let's take the example of Jorge_Andrews, I would do:
/co rollback Jorge_Andrews t:24h r:global
That is the basic way of rolling back a grief with core protect.
This is a video guide to how to use core protect rollback:
And here is a guide (to all of it) to read:

List of all World Guard commands and how to: worldguard.enginehub.org/en/latest/regions/flags/
If you cannot use world guard, you are not added to PEX, contact StevenNL2000 if this is the case
Helpful guide to World Guard:
Protecting Spawn:
1. Select the region with //wand
2. Do //expand vert (This is to prevent OPs from building above or below spawn)
3. Do /rg define <name of region>
4. Do /rg flag <name of region> pvp deny (This is to prevent OPs from pvping at spawn)
Protecting PvP Arena:
I'd suggest adding a region with pvp disabled and apply the same flags below as well. Set that area with the warp.
1. Select the region with //wand
2. Do //expand vert (This is to prevent OPs from building above or below the pvp arena)
3. Do /rg define <name of region>
4. Do /rg flag <name of region> pvp allow (Create a separate area for the pvp arena)
5. Do /rg flag <name of region> game-mode survival (This force gamemodes them as soon as they enter the region(Use this for the region with pvp disabled))
6. Do /rg flag <name of region> invincible deny (This will auto turn /god off when they enter the region)
7. Do /rg flag <name of region> blocked-cmds gmc,god,d (This blocks /gmc /god and /d)
Protecting an OP's build:
1. Select the region with //wand
2. Do //expand vert (This is to prevent other OPs from building above or below the build)
3. Do /rg define <name of region>
4. Do /rg addmember <name of region> <OP's username> (This allows only the OP to build on this build)
Other suggested flags:
use - allow/deny - allows or denys players to use buttons, lever, doors, etc. in a region
chest-access - allow/deny - allows or denys players to open containers like chests, furnaces, anvils, etc. in a region
greeting/farewell - string - sends a message in chat when a player leaves or enters a region
potion-splash - allow/deny - allows or denys players to splash potions in a region
item-drop - allow/deny - allows or denys players to drop items in a region
/rg flag <name of region> <flag name> <allow/deny>
/rg flag <name of region> <flag name> <string>
Thank you for reading.
