Probably not the first one to find the links but I did.
I found the download links to Minecraft 2.0!
I knew the jar files would be on assets.minecraft.net, since that's where they stored all of the pre-releases / snapshots. If there are any old Minecraft players here, you would remember that the Minecraft 1.8 pre-release jar got "leaked". It was stored on assets.minecraft.net.
Since www.assets.minecraft.net/ shows all of the assets raw, I did control + f to find "minecraft", and found that there were some "secret" links to Minecraft 2.0.
Here's an example of one:
secretthings/do_not_open/no_seriously/please_dont_open_or_share_with_anybody/theres_nothing_to_see_here/minecraft_2point0_blue.zip
So it would just be: assets.minecraft.net/secretthings/do_not_open/no_seriously/please_dont_open_or_share_with_anybody/theres_nothing_to_see_here/minecraft_2point0_blue.zip
However, there were 2 others: purple and red.
Not sure what the difference is between the three
Here are all of the links:
assets.minecraft.net/secretthings/do_not_open/no_seriously/please_dont_open_or_share_with_anybody/theres_nothing_to_see_here/minecraft_2point0_blue.zip
assets.minecraft.net/secretthings/do_not_open/no_seriously/please_dont_open_or_share_with_anybody/theres_nothing_to_see_here/minecraft_2point0_purple.zip
assets.minecraft.net/secretthings/do_not_open/no_seriously/please_dont_open_or_share_with_anybody/theres_nothing_to_see_here/minecraft_2point0_red.zip
Inside each contains minecraft.jar and minecraft_server.jar, so you could open up a multiplayer server with Minecraft 2.0.
