But they are not ranks... Dev and Exec and everything that isn't Super Admin, Telnet Admin or Senior admin are just titles... How are Dev and Exec just titles? As zesuryu said before Exec have access to more commands in game, and Dev have access to the code of TFM and the Telnet Client. Asst. Executive is the only title that has no use yet. Not one bit true. Devs don't have access to more commands. The access of commands you have is dependent on your admin rank. And everyone has access to the code of TFM, it's open source. And devs dont have telnet without admin. And yes, it's true that some commands are restricted to executives, but again, this is based on your admin rank. You have to be a senior admin already to use the executive only commands

As zesuryu said before Exec have access to more commands in game, and Dev are basically people who can change the cods of TFM and the Telnet Client. Asst. Executive is the only title that has no use yet. If I login to the server I'm a developer, but that gives me no additional access, it is nothing but a title. And AFAIK that's the same for anything that isn't Super, Telnet and Senior ranks. That may have changed, but the original intent of TFM was not to have title specific ranks because they shouldn't be needed. An executive shouldn't need to have permissions above and beyond that of a senior admin for example. And in our case where telnet's can now be an executive, you end up with weird higherarchy in permissions. Telesphoreo 's post above this sums it up better than I probably did.

Yeah my bad I didn't realize that Exec rank doesn't actually give you more powers in game, but just because a rank is only useless on tf doesn't mean it should be removed entirely, if we remove the dev rank then there would've been no way to tell whether or not someone is a developer for TFM.

Executive does give you more perms in game, but you have to be a senior. Eg. Darth can give people coins, but Ron can't.

Well all I can say is I have no idea why that needs to be a thing, and that it isn't the way the TFM ranking model was intended. But yeah, in reality Exec is just a title, not a rank, it certainly shouldn't need to be it's own rank imho
