As somebody who has been on this server since nearly the beginning, there was nowhere near as much tension between people as there is now. Not denying there was, but not to the extent that I have seen recently. Quite honestly, it makes me sad to see that this community will go down each other’s throats about literally anything and everything now. There’s no such thing as peacefully settling disagreements. It also seems like no matter what changes are made, you’re still going to get people that complain. Maybe we should try and find a way to get the entire server community on the same page, as opposed to having 9 page threads of non stop bickering.
I highly doubt this thread will make any big changes, but it’s time to realize that there is a clear disconnect between the executive team and the rest of the server community. It is time to find a way for everybody to be on the same page, and maybe that will ease a lot of the arguing that goes on. That is all I have to say.

I think you're overexaggerating the situation. The 3 people (nick, dragon, and vjay) came to seth with the idea that the Me, Fionn, and square (not even the executives as a whole as vjay has said) were not doing their jobs correctly because we are friends. that's really it.
I think this whole thing could have been avoided if IA and current policy was used but it wasnt

There really isn't that much going on. Pretty much all recent drama is just forced bullshit. The server is actually doing well.

If you look at it deeper like I didn’t before I made this thread, there really haven’t been much slip ups like the recent one as much. My apologies for not updating myself before making this thread. I created a thread that had around 9 pages with similar drama with pretty much the same outcome. (Ironically, most of those people are now suspended) and it happened when infamas got voted off as well. Drama is a natural thing which will come and go with this server. There won't be a time where 100% of the playerbase will agree on something. If so, then that's a dictatorship, not a community. My point is, we shouldn't worry about bickering, in fact I think it is better that things are discussed from both perspectives, so that they can be improved. |

It's a mix of perception and confirmation bias I reckon.
Part of it is you (Like me) probably don't see as many threads as the admins so to us it looks like there's constant drama and bickering, when it's possibly far more civil than that.
And I also expect people expect there to be drama, so when there is its almost like it never ends, but when it's not happening people forget that it's not happening until it starts happening, when they then think it always happens.
