Trial Mod

My suggestion which Kae has already been made aware of is the following: For example 10 people successfully apply for trial mod, and they get accepted, after there 2 to 3 month or however long trial mod period, the EAO and their team hand pick, for example 60% of them to move onto moderator, so 6 of the best trial mods could be picked to become a moderator, the other 4 have to reapply, now I get that this sounds kind of cruel just to make them reapply but this gives us the ability to pick the best staff possible, making our team the best it can be. This system could really benefit the staff team IMO as it could improve the staff team drastically. Now, when a moderator wants to apply for admin (currently senior), I believe we should use the same or a similar system that we use now. Is there some sort of criteria that the Trial Mods will be evaluated by? I personally think that if all the Trial Mods qualify, then they should all be accepted, not based off of what is "deemed best". This is oddly close to what Mineplex has as a system (something I may know a thing or two about as I was staff there), minus the Staff Management and mentoring, and the system where only the best Trial mods are picked. So far, I'm really liking the changes and looking forward to how it's going to turn out. I wasn't actually aware that Mineplex did something like this, I have ideas of what the criteria could be though at the end of the day, that is up to the EAO to sort out, though I am planning on sending all my ideas of what the criteria could be and related things to the current EAO. Edit: I also said only have a percent acceptance rate as we don't want to overload the server with loads of staff but barely any OPs.

This could also be decided at each point depending on how many new staff members the EAO thinks we need at that point

Something like this will be put in place. I want it to become more difficult to become a mod than it was to gain super admin. I think this will improve our administration and by correlation the experience on the server. (core premise) approved please keep giving your opinions though, incredibly valuable to me. I think the big thing is actively enforcing probations and trial-mod periods and actively removing those that do not perform well. I feel this could resolve lots of issues because right now it seems that once you have super it's a done deal.
