Events are becoming more and more of a thing now that Darth has taken over as the server liaison. Because of this I think that it is time to start thinking about whether or not an events world would be a beneficial action. Something I noticed from the first Building event was how unfair it was. Admins got access to brush n stuff while default players did not. This is why I propose we add an events world/server to host the future events. On this server admins and players would all have the same permissions making for a more fun and fair event.
It seems that people mostly want either an events "world" or an events "server". Personally I am torn between the two as they both have their pros and cons, but no matter how this world is made, (a server or a world), I think that having a place to host events where everyone has permission to everything would be a beneficial action.
Let me know what you think.

Object, this is the wrong way to tackle this issue. OPs should have access to brush etc.
Making a separate server for events defeats the purpose of it being a 'TF event'

Vouch for it being a world, if the event is related to builds. Then the user can easily download it should they want to. Object for a seperate server because that isnt a TF event imo.

I agree with Elmon, it makes no sense that admins have more building tools than players. Adding a separate world or server for this would be an indication to me that we are actively working against making the gap between OPs and admins smaller.

OPs should have access to brush etc. Making a separate server for events defeats the purpose of it being a 'TF event' I agree that ops should have permission to commands like brush but as of right now those there is something wrong with the commands that makes it hard (or impossable) to track who did what. Either way, this is not about that. This is about the future of total freedom events. Even if we did figure out a way to allow op's to have access to these commands I think that having an events server would allow event contenders to have a better time. As it is right now ,players have to claim a plot, paste a schematic, and wait for the event theme to be announced. Having a server or world that automatically sends them to a plot and announces the theme every couple minutes would remove confusion and save time. Making a separate server for the events does not defeat the purpose of it being a totalfreedom event. It would be just like smp, all you have to do is run the command /server events and your there.

So what you actually want is a system to better manage events. That is a suggestion I would vouch on, but it doesn't require a new world or server.

I was thinking that instead of making a whole new bungee server or whatever just for events, we could host them inside of the hub (see my post in the thread "hub ideas")
