i think elmon should have won, as i have no critisisms for his build. however, i will be sharing my opinions on how the other 2 builds could have improved just a bit
(these are just opinions dont @ me)
Square:
1) i feel as if the boat didn't really fit with the style of the rest of the build, nether brick really contrasts with the rest of the build and I think maybe using red nether brick, or crimson wood might've worked better
2) the pillars holding up the cliff that the bell house is on don't look supportive enough, even though most blocks in Minecraft don't actually have gravity, it is important to make your build look and feel, stable
3) I loved the custom trees however I feel as if having the non-custom ones in such close proximity of them kind of detracts from the wow factor of the custom ones
4) some of the trees/ terrain was floating
5) I liked how the bell house was placed on a hill to draw the attention of the viewer however i feel as if its a bit weird how there is no path to the tower, and there's a tree blocking the stairs
Ron:
1) the custom trees were amazing, however by using the normal non-custom ones, it detracts from the custom trees, also I felt as if the non-custom trees were too close together and very clustered
2) I liked the lava river, however, the textures for lava don't look the best, so what I typically do is use stained glass and some other blocks to give the feel of a lava river without it being too harsh compared to the rest of the terrain
3) the backside of the mountain/hill (the one with the portal on it) felt like there was just a hole in the terrain there, and if that was more smoothed I felt it could be more of a cave/tunnel
4) I like how you made an attempt to blend the nether terrain with the grassy terrain, however, I feel as if the blending work you did was a bit harsh, I'm not am expert on this so I won't say much else about it
5) this is just a pet peeve, but the nether portal on top of the hill was made of crying obsidian, a block which cant be used to make a nether portal
6) not a criticism, but I absolutely loved the soul fire lamp things that you made, its quite an interesting design and it really fit the environment well
Overall, all three builds were really good, especially considering the time limit, and while I did have some criticisms, keep in mind that nobody is perfect, and somebody will always criticize your work, however, that's not a bad thing, as constructive criticism allows you to better know what you can try and improve
