So I read a bit about this at work today. Another link that I was sent - www.abc.net.au/news/2020-06-19/foreign-cyber-hack-targets-australian-government-and-business/12372470 It sounds like all of the attack vectors were known critical security issues that could have been patched with updates, many dating back to early 2019. It's just poor IT management, and to be honest the fact it took another state to do it is kinda embarrassing by it's self given most of these could have been done by a 13 year old skript kiddy...
