Personally I'm not sure how people are going to just "defund" the police logically. I mean that's a bit of a stretch to me. But what do you think, do you agree?

Why not? Our police are overly and unnecessarily militarized, there is a serious problem with America's police culture.

Where do you want people to go if you disassemble the police There is a difference between abolishing law enforcement and not spending insane amounts of money on militarized law enforcement.

Dumb. Divert funding towards better, extremely needed police education. Cutting funding does nothing to address the problems we are having right now.

Where do you want people to go if you disassemble the police People obviously aren't trying to disband the entire police force. They overspend their budget. The UK police forces budget is around 12.8 billion a year. That could be cut down exponentially.

Does if help with racism? No does it help acknowledged and remove the corupt police? No, all it does is make the police more and more defensive which is the opposite of what we want right now

I was about to edit my post. I should of worded it correctly, was meaning to say "investing their funds into more services that need budget boosts"

Yeah they should. Spend it on bettering the budget on low income schools or communities. Something else that actually helps and gives to the community rather than cops. Literally almost anything would be better to relocate this money to. ?

It would be nice to reallocate the money for militarizing police to healthcare workers. This would be especially useful during a global pandemic that has killed over a hundred thousand (and counting) people in just the United States.
