Yope.
1. Your Minecraft name: N/A 2. Are you using the same forum & Minecraft account that you used when you were an admin in the past? (Yes or No). If no, state all former account names and be prepared to verify that you're not an imposter: Yes 3. What rank were you (super, telnet, senior) and the approx dates you were an admin: (e.g. super admin from Jun 2010 - Jan 2013): Senior 2019 4. Why were you removed from admin?: Not 100% sure as it simply happened without notice, but if I had to guess it was to single me out on some brave principle of removing inactive people when this principle has only been applied to me. 6. If you are reinstated, how often will you be able to do admin duties?: 100% of the time 7. Have you reviewed the server rules and banning protocols to ensure you're up to speed on any changes that might have occurred since your return from inactivity?: Yes 8. Do you have a family member that's been on the perm ban list within the past 60 days? If yes, your request will be denied with the exception of the allowance in rule 18: No!
The title of this thread is not relevant to anything, but at least it made you click on the thread.
--
This is that fancy part of the thread where I explain why I wasn't here or whatever mundane bullshit people usually do on these threads, but to give a precise explanation I reset this forum account to default settings to symbolize the indefinite death of my presence on these forums because the fire that this forum had in early 2019 when all that owner fun was happening had went out and this forum went back to its own default state of 75% of threads being either ban appeals, reinstatements, griefer reports, or introductions/leavings, with the other percentage just being other unattractive dull threads or maybe people advertising their own trash.
To concisely explain why I'm back, I plan to bring back that fire.

1. Your Minecraft name: N/A can you state the name of your cracked alt, so you can be added to the adminlist if/when needed? Vouch if you're going to be active ingame. If this isn't a vote then wb To concisely explain why I'm back, I plan to bring back that fire. Oft, why do you need admin to do this?

The official executive roster says as of 21 hours ago that I am a charter and thus have no requirement for activity. The real question should be why was I singled out when we were doing the whole brave "we're changing up the system" thing and then doing absolutely nothing to change up the system other than remove me in particular and then be business as usual with everybody else? You're telling me everybody who has admin right now (including senior admin) is perfectly active?

The official executive roster says as of 21 hours ago that I am a charter and thus have no requirement for activity. Except that very same policy was reworked by the higher ups so that charters would no longer be able to regain their former Admin title, but would instead recieve the title of "Charter" as recognition for their service to TF. @creeperseth "recently" backpaddled on the new policies regarding activity and ranks, so I am unaware if charters now can regain their former Adminstrative title or still merely get a fancy title. If that is not the case, and the policy still stands that charters are not subject to regaining their former title, then why should you be treated as an exception, when you don't even come with a reason for having Admin? The real question should be why was I singled out when we were doing the whole brave "we're changing up the system" thing and then doing absolutely nothing to change up the system other than remove me in particular and then be business as usual with everybody else? You're telling me everybody who has admin right now (including senior admin) is perfectly active? Just because the higher ups are not enforcing their own policy properly does not mean you should be exempt from the policy as well. You were singled out because, in your case, it was -blatantly- apparent you did not need Admin. Tell me why you need Admin when you never Adminstrate on a - Minecraft- server? It's not my fault that @zegandhi , @creeperseth , Mibbzz ' (and so on, can't cite everyone) policies are not actually put into place. If you want your title back, you should either A) get an actual account and go on the server and adminstrate, or B) petition for the policy to be reverted. You haven't given any actual reasoning behind you wanting Admin in your OP. If we follow the logic behind the policy changes: why should you be given a shiny Admin title, when even you yourself treated it as a volunteer job with no rewards? To quote Zekurt directly: (from totalfreedom.boards.net/thread/63415/admin-re-work-discussion)The point of having the rank of senior admins is to have veteran admins, not veterans. Veterans will still be recognized one way or another, but they do not need to be recognized through an active admin rank. We should all be in favor of purging inactive and useless admins even if it means getting rid of ourselves, and as a charter admin, I want what it best for the server, not what is best for myself. Charter admins will keep their title, but they will not have the title of admin. I will object on your reinstatement for the time being until (if) you can give me a solid argument for why you should regain your former title. Side note: I am in the process of berating Admins who are hardly active on the server to either sit on their ass and adminstrate or to resign their position, and I will happily supply with images of such instances, in case you think I am one of the people "singling you out"

I'm also not sure why you're mentioning zekurt when he's made a total of zero policies

I thought both of you were behind some of the rework, esepcially when you defended the policy changes so vehemently on the threads

The executive roster (which is currently being posted and edited by the owner mind you, we're not talking about archaic scripture) blatantly states that charter admins have no activity requirement, and if we live in a world which makes sense we follow the policies and automatically accept this. This isn't a situation where I petition for a policy to be reverted, it's a situation where I get the rank according to the policy and if there is a disagreement with that then somebody else petitions to change the policy. The way I see it, it either works as that or we're just making up new things arbitrarily as we go on without caring about formal policy. I was singled out in the sense that I was the only one who was removed as a result of all the brave motions to stop all inactivity, and perhaps I was the most obvious case, but that isn't an excuse when you're not even going to change the policy to remove me, provide notice, or apply the same principles to everybody else.

Except the "policies" you speak of don't agree with you. Re-read my entire post. The fact that it says there is no "activity requirement" does not mean that you get to regain Admin - it purely indicates that you always keep your honourary title of "charter", not Admin. So no, we shouldn't "automatically accept this" because you do not qualify for Admin anymore than a regular OP due to the policy rework.I agree with you, but what do you want Admins to do if the policy is implemented, but not enforced? Should we ignore the policy and exempt you as well. If anything you should get Seth to force his higher ups to enforce HIS policies, and not argue back and forth on your reinstatement thread why people are objecting to you regaining your title because we are following said policy changes.

This is incorrect when you realize that the charter section of the admin roster was left exactly as how Mark wrote it, unless you're trying to reinterpret Mark's own policy as he wrote it to mean something else. The point is, as the policy stands right now, I am entitled to the rank and thus this shouldn't even be a discussion. Source: totalfreedom.boards.net/post/723621

Source: totalfreedom.boards.net/post/723621Except if you follow the policy changes that Seth instated, then you are incorrect. It was made abundantly clear that the logic behind this system was we want Admins to actually adminstrate - not have SA be a reward but instead a volunteer job. Even if Mark wrote that charters always keep Admin (which he didn't), then this policy would no longer be in effect, as I am pretty sure the current owner's decisions override a past owner's. And this is not the case, as to quote from "EXECUTIVE & SENIOR ADMIN ROSTER (10 JUN 2019) " (https://totalfreedom.boards.net/thread/63717/executive-senior-admin-roster-2019): "9. Charter: Admins that pioneered the server during Minecraft alpha/beta. They have no requirement for activity." - i.e. there is not made any specification whether ot not the no-activity requirement is for the honourary rank of charter or Admin, but with the context of Seth's changes to the Admin policy it should be clear that it is meant for the honourary title solely. You have still yet to give any reasoning behind you wanting Admin besides you thinking you're entitled to it, which is exactly what the proponents of the policy rework were against: entitlement.
