Hello, I am sorry if this is the wrong place to be asking this but I will try anyway I am having problems with my Google Pixel XL and it retaining battery due to overuse I think, and the battery saver does not help too much. I do not need help with fixing it but I would like to know how to minimise the use of battery and how I can make the battery last longer, as it does not last very long. Thank you very much

Well I have had it since around November, although I bought it second hand so I don't know how the last person used it.

You could also try a factory reset and see if that does anything (assuming the battery health is good)

Should I get another VPN? probably, but always make sure to check your app details like so: if it's big enough, in the battery menu, or in the app details

Try turning on global dark mode in the settings. This should help save battery.
