Following the FCC's unpopular decision to repeal Net Neutrality in the United States, the United States Senate was forced to vote weather or not to have these rulings to be overturned.
The vote was 52-47, forwarding the vote to the House.

This does not "overturn the FCC's decision". This needs to be voted on by the House.

^ They haven't been reinstated yet. And assuming it passes the house (extremely unlikely), it will have to get past the president, who will more than likely veto the bill. If it goes back to the house, it's near certain that it'll die. More than anything, Democrats are trying to make this an issue during the midterms: Vote against net neutrality, answer to angry constituents and lose seats.
The whole deal is really fucked up.

This does not "overturn the FCC's decision". This needs to be voted on by the House. My mistake, corrected.
