So Adaptified's forum account was self-deleted but from the logs, it appears that his account was hacked & deleted by the same person that hacked Temmie's account. I keep telling people to change their passwords and tighten up security but obviously some aren't listening. Of course since his account is deleted, he's removed from admin status.

If returns, will he be reinstated?

I've found a few other admins' passwords and they've been PM'd about it.
Please, even if I don't PM you, change your password if you haven't already.

make sure you test your passwords to see how fast they can be cracked - for example, use blog.kaspersky.com/password-check/ - you don't need to use your real password - just something close to it to test how strong it would be. You might be surprised how fast it can be hacked.

It's not all about whether it can be cracked either, remember that if you use the same password everywhere that chances are one of the sites you use is going to store it improperly, which means they are also doing security completely wrong and your password will inevitably be leaked. If a site you use is breached, you should cease using that password immediately (How many of you are still using the same password as when the Adobe breach occurred, because I guarantee it's more than 50% of you) You should really use a different password for every site, OR, on sites you can log in using a tool such as Facebook / Gmail / Twitter. OAuth is a very good technology, and makes using these sites for authentication very easy, and chances are Google / Facebook / Twitter will handle password security much better than "Joe Bloggs' Minecraft Mod Website!". OR better yet, use a password manager. Personally I reccomend LastPass but there are many alternatives, some of which can run on your local machine. If you're on a Mac, and use an Apple only environment (Mac, iPhone, iPad etc) you can use the inbuilt Keychain with iCloud (It's 256 bit AES encrypted before being uploaded to iCloud) - it's very convenient. As well as this, on sites you can, use 2 factor authentication. It's easy, you can use a tool such as YubiKey if you want to be really secure about it, but other than that, even your phone is better than nothing. Get an app such as Google Authenticator, or Authy. Hell, it works on your iPhone/iPad/Android/Windows/Chrome and even your SmartWatch. Please, dont compromise on your password security, passwords will get leaked, it's inevitable, and I know you wont do anything about it until it inevitably does happen to you (my old passwords are out there, if you really want to go find them). But please, for your own sake, and the sake of everyone else you associate with please use unique passwords, and where possible use 2FA.

Also, I'd like to add; Proboards uses capatchas if you fail to login with the correct credentials too many times. This means that someone is getting the passwords from database breaches on other sites.
...don't use the same password for every site!!!
