The application is approved and he can be supered any admin - I've added him to the forum admin list. Keysolo, please read the messages in the admin section of the forum, esp those policies posted by myself.
As for what Jack and Wilee were talking about, there is no time on server requirement although it's highly unlikely that a day 1 noob will get recommendations unless perhaps the real Notch applies. The key is demonstrating you have the admin potential, or you bring skills to the server along with recommendations, especially senior admin recommendations - those count most but supers can weigh in, esp if they have hand knowledge of the performance of the applicant.
Admins come and go and we need a steady supply of super admins and I like there to be an admin on around the clock if possible. But even with the large number of admins we have now, we still don't get full 24/7 coverage and so we have room for more but we need quality over quantity.
Also, keep in that all new admins are on probation for 30 days and if turns out they're incompetent or won't follow admin policies, we get rid of them. Of course even if one is out of probation, they can be removed for misconduct.
As for veterans or old timers getting admin back, they can get super back provided intend to re-establish themselves on the server - we don't admin out to ex-admins that are just visiting for nostalgia purposes and the old timers need to learn what's changed by reading all the admin policies that are posted in the admin section.
On the other hand, getting senior admin is much more difficult since there's fewer slots and you need senior recommendations plus the concurrence of a majority of seniors and myself. In the past, I often did direct promoting but thanks to Finest putting this forum together, we have a more organized process and admin selection (super and senior) is pretty much in the hands of the seniors.
